I really couldn't last long as a Christian, just one crisis after another sent by God in order to 'test' my faith. Does he ever stop giving you tests, or is that going to go on your whole life. Will he ever finally believe you have faith if you do really well on the tests?

Because he is an entity created by man. Why else would he be contradicting himself so much? Also, the old and new testament Gods are pretty different. Another "flaw."

This is one perspective, not necessarily mine.

If everything is perfect in your life, wouldn't it be very boring? There will be no stories to tell, to experiences to share and nothing to learn!
Each test that God gives unto us is a learning experience. God feels that sometimes we might be in need to learn a certain virtue, that's why He is building us up for it.
I once read somewhere, that not all tests or trials that we experienced is from God, sometimes they come about because of an error we have made or some coincidences that are man-made. So, we cannot put everything unto God!
And in Job, it was Satan that wanted to test Job. God wanted to show that Job could withstand the tests so allowed Satan to test Job but do not harm him.

Take it with good stride. Life is hard, never easy. If you do not experience hardship, how will you then know what is happiness, what is sweetness and what is the fruit you reaped?
God did not give us all perfect lives so that we won't face all these challenges. God gives us crisis and tests so that we learn to trust on Him and to lean on Him. If you never experience hardships, how then will you learn to realise that God is the loving and faithful God as He claims, and that He will always be there for you?

Have good faith!

A Christian believes in the existence of Satan, Beelzebub so what makes you think it is God testing your faith? God gives us grace if we accept it to overcome sin but the testing is not done for the purpose of seeing us fail or to test our faith because all have sinned, no one is perfect, even the Popes. Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is near. It is about repentance not only faith.

For the Christians who are saying God/dess doesn't test:

Genesis 22:1-2:
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied.

2 Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."

Fields, the scriptures say that God/dess searches the MOTIVATION of our hearts.

1 Chronicles 28:9:
"And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

As you can see, it doesn't say God/dess knows our hearts, but searches them.

This doesn't mean that Christians will not sin if put to the test...as we know, many criminals commit sins thinking there is a good reason for it...such as stealing food to feed the family. If a Christian were to face this test, it would be a question of how strong their faith is (whether they trust God/dess to provide). God/dess tests our faith.

Very simple.Since 1000 Bible time, Satan is ruling this non-justice system of human-devil reign permitted by Jehovah's as is clearly pointed out in The Bible. This is a known consequence of the second pact(Abrahan-Jehova) which implied his Son as in a human corp sealed this alliance. After that Luzbel was
allowed to ruled the World until Jehova send again Jesus & destroy the beast. That`s why exists so many evilness & inequity

It hard for an individual to fully accept the beliefs of a religion if they are constantly questioning the meaning behind it. I am Muslim and believe in the religion of Islam. Thankfully, I never question my religion because I believe that any of my concerns, worries, or any confusion are outlined clearly in the Quran and Sunnah. I believe that God has created all mankind so that we can worship and obey him. In order for God to distinguish between the believers and non-believers he must test us. He wants to distinguish between the believers who ask for his protection during times of weakness and the non-believers who continue to stray for the message of God during hard times. Yes, he knows what is in our hearts, but he has also given us free will to make our own decisions. Life is a test and it's up to God who passes and who fails. I don't look at it as a test, but as a chance to perfect my soul for God.

Other than that, you know just as much as I know, my friend. I think that I remain Christian because my faith is a great coping mechanism when times are hard.

13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.

Experience. Imagine if God knows you COULD go to college, learn and get a degree, so if he knows all this couldn't he just GIVE you the diploma NOW? It is not for him that we pass through experiences and make choices, it is for us.
