Let's say a person is kind, just, and honest...lives to fulfill his or her dreams in a fair way. Abides by the laws, harms no others, and doesn't judge another. This person also is NOT Christian and has chosen another religious path.
How can you follow a God, that if he exists, would condemn this person to hell for choosing not to follow "his" (mans interpretation) word.
If there is a Christian God, I will refuse to believe he is like this. I think any person who has good moral values and is over all a decent person should have eternal happiness. What are your thoughts?

Jessie-
I accept that you believe in God, and I respect that. What if a good friend of yours decided to choose another path..one that was not with God...and this friend was a good person...do you think this friend would go to hell? Do you think this friend should?

Mike D.... If Heaven is not a reward, then why is Hell a punishment. Also, do you think that people who are morally decent will go to hell...? Do they just hang out in a median forever? What are your thoughts?

You are more than right.By the way,no true God would ever condemn such a person but we can't be sure of his followers.IN ALL RELIGIONS,SOME FOLLOWERS ALWAYS CARRY A BIGGER CROSS THAN THE ALL MIGHTY.

Most of these anawers are very unsettling... I don't understand how anyone could feel they have a right to dissaprove of another human being's religion.
Do they think they will go to heaven and be saved because they chose the "right thing." If I were to judge my fellow human beings based on his or her religious beliefs I would feel selfish.
I don't understand why people are more obsessed with "life after death" (heaven and hell), than the life and the people and this earth they are living on right now. People need to help and accept each other. As humans, we are of the same race, and share needs accordingly: food, water, shelter, etc. Religion is as essential, but I feel like it is up to the individual to interpret. We all have different minds and different experiences, no two people imagine words the same, and therefore no two people really believe the same, not even if they are both Christians.
Is it not futile to be so absorbed with your own fate that you neglect doing things to better this earth and the relationships you have with all individuals regardless of their religion?
I love all people and I will accept everyone, and I will continue to do this in spite of the fact that some people may condemn me for this.

I don't think of God as "my" God vs. everybody else's God. I do not judge anyone, that would be un-Christian of me. If someone has found God/the divine spirit through some other religious path, I think that it's a beautiful thing. In my opinion it doesn't matter how they came to know the divine, just that they came to know it at all. Go with the path that allows you to grow.

"Nature," aka, "God" allegedly created all residing issues. no remember if that's biologically, chemically or bodily accessible to be created, it is going to ultimately be. In different words, as Darwin, postulated, organic decision will ensue, it basically desires the right environment. (occasion: The Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador) there is evidence that people have stepped forward over the final 6 to 10 million years. there have been various simian strains, a number of that have died out. Homosexuals have been a factor of the human race probable because of the fact the very commencing up. there is evidence of Homosexuality interior the writings of the classic Greeks 1000 or greater years until now the beginning of Christ.. there is lots of hypocrisy that exists in specific church doctrine. The Catholic church is a astonishing occasion of this. They condemn homosexuality, yet have allowed rampant pedophilia in the process the church. So in summation, sure, we are ALL creatures of God.

Your question is difficult to answer because the type of person your are hypothetically describing is actually outside of biblical fundamentals and teachings. There are none who are good but God. The heart is deceitful above all things, it is desperately sick, who shall trust it? For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Maybe you have heard those verses before, but they clearly show that the nature of mankind is not kind, just, and honest. Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." There is only one path that leads to God, and that is through Christ. The reason is that Christ willfully took the punishment for our sins, so that, if we would believe on Him, we would not perish but have everlasting life. Finally, God requires perfection, He can not be in the presence of manmade sin, so even if your hypothetical person was outwardly kind, just, and honest, they would also need to be perfect in every aspect of life. This is not possible for mankind. The death of Christ made it possible for perfection to be reached, but everyone must repent and place trust in Him, there is NO other way. To say otherwise would be calling Jesus Christ a liar...

Christ has already given you the answer. Do Believe for there is no other way. Since you already know this why do you ask? Wash your garments in the blood of the lamb an call upon his name, he will make you whole. There is no mistake you are not some one who do sent know him, you give him no choice, choose him and all will be made right. He is the King of all angles, Lord of Lords, His Kingdom will be done. Acts alone own will not save you.

That's the benefit of having a Christian God.
Actually, the Jewish God, who the Christians often paint as being vengeful and full of wrath devised 7 commandments that kind, just people could follow. So let the Christians worry about their salvation in their own way, and you can worry about it in yours. Think of it as eliminating the middleman.

The problem is that none of us is really good. We all have hurt others at some time or another. We all have lusted, or coveted, we all have been angry without a cause, we all have lied at one time or another, and we all have had bad intentions at some point in our lives. So none of us is truly "good" or "moral". Jesus is the only way. He loves you and offers you salvation as a free gift, if you choose not to take it, you can't fault Him.
