The names you are looking for are of Low German and/or Dutch origin. I have found two maps, which will help you on:
http://www.verwandt.de/karten/absolut/otten.html
http://www.verwandt.de/karten/absolut/jennerjahn.html
The name Jennerjohn is most likely coming from Mecklenburg as a variation of Jennerjahn, which can be found much more often.

I think Otten is Dutch and Jennerjohn is German. I tried on some Genealogy sites and it seemed to be this way

Her origins (or her ancestors) came from where they came from, irregardless of what some web site says about the origin of a name. None of the websites (or few) bother to explain that if someone did research, they may easily learn that the spelling they use now, is not the original of the name. MANY American names have become different from the original. Her parents may not tell her.. because they don't know, and never did any research about it. The fact is, research is the ONLY way to be sure. Bottom line.. finding where a name comes from, is completely separate from finding where your ancestry comes from.

This is what www.ancestry.com has to say about the names
Otten
English: variant of Ott, from the Old French oblique case.
North German and Dutch: patronymic from the personal name Otto (see Ott).
We have no name meaning and origin for Jennerjohn
sorry I couldn't help any more than that.
