I'm planning on getting a 40 gig PS3 along with rock band. But the 40 gig model only has 2 ports. The PS3 version doesnt come with a Hub, and once they fix the compatibility issues with the GH3 les paul controller I should have 4 controllers running. I dont want to have to pay 25 bucks to get the special rockband hub. So I was wondering if just any regular PC hub would work. Could someone who already has a PS3 try this, or does anyone just know?

yes it works like a charm, thats hows you hook up your psp to a ps3(using a regular usb cord)you can put pictures, music and other good stuff on your ps3 from there too
