Any suggestions? Did you have to do surgery to correct this problem? I'm feeling nervous & stressed!

Yes, I have a ten inch plate in my left hand and cannot bend the wrist but, It beats the pain I had. My right wrist keeps "popping" out of joint, it's painful but, I'm not sure about surgery just yet either. They do not make a good artificial wrist just yet, the ones they have are nothing but trouble.
A plate is the only answer for now and, that means a stiff wrist. I told my doctor when I learn to wipe with the left wrist when I cannot bend it, I'll be seeing him, He understands. It does hamper you in many ways and, until your there, you don't know, think about it. Good luck.
