I would like to know when in the navy can you have sex on the ships

Are you supposed to have sex onbaord the ship? Hell no, not according to the UCMJ. Besides, the ship is also your workplace; do you think it's okay to have sex in your office? I didn't think so.
Does sex sometimes happen on the ships? I'm not going to pretend it doesn't. A lot of the ships went coed sometime in the 1990's, and the larger ships have all sorts of fanrooms and other hidden, out of the way spaces which don't see much traffic. Put a coed crew on there for a 6-month deployment and the usual male-female interactions are bound to happen. I'm not saying it's right (in fact it's actually illegal - remember the UCMJ?) but I am saying it most likely does happen anyway.

No one is authorized to have sex of any kind onboard a US Naval Vessel......period. If you are caught doing something as stupid as that, you deserve the punishment you receive from the Commanding Officer. Years ago I caught two in the fuel station on the portside catwalk of the USS JFK. Both were reduced in rank. Now I understand their will be relationships on board, but the really stupid part of this story is that 2 days later we pulled into port (U.A.E.) So l ask: why couldn't they wait the 2 days?

Not, if you're a lowly navy sailor. But if you're a navy captain or even an admiral then you can.

IT IS AGAINST REGULATIONS to engage in stuff like that while on board.. and you can get court martialed when caught.
