Well I was taught about God as a child, but I really realized the He was real (more than simply believing) once I really started to trust Him and to see Him help me as I did.

I was raised in a Methodist Church so, I have always known Jesus.
As I become of age I fell away, but through prayer Jesus forgave me of my sins.
I moved out of state and visited many churches here, I put my foot on the second step of the Church, and I knew this was where I belonged. I had visited all Churches around me.
I guess God was trying me to see how determined I would be in serving Him It is a Spirit filled Church and never in the past ten years have I not gone to that Church and the Spirit of God is always flowing freely.
There is no way I can described it, you respond to it, is the Spirit of God and it is as if your not there, your are totally in awe of God.
It is the best feeling one can ever have. You don't need drugs for a high, Christ will give you a high like never before.

I basically believe in God because my parents told me to. They didn't force it on me though, but just enough to say that I should believe in Him and follow the Christian ways. I understand that not everyone agrees with each other with different religions and different beliefs, and I'm OK with it. I know that it's impossible for everyone to have the same view because that's just how human beings are...we're all diverse. It's the same with music...not everyone will like the same music, so not everyone will have the same beliefs. I dislike it when people try to force their religion onto others because i think that people should have their own choice in choosing certain beliefs. There really is no right religion (and I'm saying that as a Christian) because no one really knows the real answer and we're just basing right and wrong off of our own beliefs. I just want people to be able to do their own thing without having any conflict or arguments, but that's also impossible =(

I was kinda forced into going to church when I was young. Then at a youth retreat, I asked God into my life. That was before a line of deaths in my family. My cousin was killed in a motorcycle accident not even a month later and it got worse after that. Anyways, I start to fall away from God and then a classmate of mine was killed my senior year in high school. I realized what was going on and I knew God was calling me back. Since then I have been to basically every church service and I am very active in church activities. I love God and I will always love him even if I do start to have doubts. He is always faithful even if we aren't.

A discussion with a Native American Indian Medicine Man when I was 9 years of age. The discussion lasted 6 years, till the time of his death. I attended his final services.
He told me it was imperative that I formed a belief in the Creator at an early age.
I was very persistent in finding out all I could about the Creator.
I'm now 63 and I am fortunate to have met him!
"Peace be always with you."

I was born and brought up as a good Christian girl. But later in my youth, I really wanted to know the LORD. And He came into my heart and it was a marvellous experience. And now almost 9 years passed with the LORD. I am proud of my decision to give my life to this wonderful loving caring saviour. Because HE Lives I can face tomorrow. It is a great thing to serve the LORD.

It is an inherent quality of every human being to sense the Supremacy of a Higher Being when you see the vast creation around you. This sensing commands reverence and the volition leads to investigating Who He is.
Fortunately, we are born into families of different religious background where we are taught about the Creator of All things.
As we mature,we strive to recognise Him in our own way and when an "earnest seeker" comes to recognition of God, his belief in God becomes a conviction.

When I began to understand and see how he works through people and things, showing continous support and love. Later had a near death experience where he showed me something very personal and spoke to me.

I have faith in God. I've always had him in my life even when I've faltered through tough times. The Lord has always been there for me and loves me.
