Christianity came into being after the coming of Jesus Christ while Islam came into being after the coming of prophet Mohammed.
Other religions also came into being after the coming of those sent to proclaim the Word which they were permitted to receive from The Almighty.

Jewish religion came into existence in the era of Moses prophet with the holy book Torakh or Taurat far before Jesus christ.
Chistianity came into existence at the era of Jesus with the holy book Bibel or Injil since the first century
Islam came into existence with the holy book Al Qur'an in the era of Muhammad pbuh since the 6 th century
Buddish religion came into existence since the 5 th century
and Hindhuism came into existence after Buddism

it all started when the first ever family dispute happened one kid went to the west and started following christianity one went to the east to follow buddhism and so on. they all began as a product of ones special persons thinking and marketing abilities. and very few succeeded in it.

sikhism around 4000 bc (branch of hinduism)
