Asking for exact number of muscles?
(If so, consider my answer, if not asking for numbers, then disregard it.)

The number of muscles in the human body varies from about 656 to 850. No exact figure is available because there are a variety of opinions about what constitutes a distinct muscle (versus a part of a complex muscle). Also, there is some variability in muscular structure between individuals.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean...

Basically muscles can be divided into striated and non-striated (or smooth). Striated muscle is further divided into cardiac and skeletal muscle. Cardiac muscle is involuntary (ie. we cannot control it), skeletal muscle is voluntary. Skeletal muscle is responsible for carrying out movements- like when our brain tells us to pick something up with our arm. Smooth muscle is found in certain organs (like the bladder), this is also an involuntary type of muscle.

You can further divide and name the skeletal muscles according to their situation in the body, eg. the upper limb and the lower limbs, each of which is divided into compartments, eg. the anterior compartment of the arm consists of the biceps brachii muscle and the coracobrachialis muscle...
