God, he created everything.
Genesis 1:5
God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Genesis 1:14
And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,

Genesis 1:16
God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.

Genesis 1:18
to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Time is a manufactured process which God created to show contrast between eternity, and non-eternity. Time was created at the first instant explosion. Time exists when there are two or more objects which move in relation to each other. Study the Universe and you will learn all about Time and how it is like a dream which is not real--for it is not real, but an illusion.

It came from space. The less space there is, the less time there is. And when I say space I mean distance, which also has something to do with the energy that binds together the nucleus of the atom, I mean where is that energy derived and how is it derived, and of course you'd need a time expression any such equation, so the whole thing gets rather messy, and I'm not a mathematician. Am I boring you?

Time is a result of creation. As Einstein said "time keeps everything from happening at once." Time, from within it appears as a linear dimension. Kind of like a beam of light that you shine in the sky. It has a definate stead path and an origin yet there is no visable ending. Outside of time well I have never been there but basically it loses it linear effect andeverything happens now.

Time began when the universe began.

Time, space, light all must exist for one to exist. Where one is absent all is absent.

Whether you are a Creationist or Big Banger...the concept is still the same.

Before the event...there was nothing...as in nothing...as in the complete absence of everything.

We think of nothing as empty space...but to physicists nothing is no space, no time, no light, no matter...no everything

The Big Bang/Creation did not fill the existing vast emptiness of space with the expanding universe...it created space along with matter, time, energy and light as it expanded.

This is the basic standard concept of 'was' before the Big Bang.....nothing...still nothing....still nothing...no light....nothing....nothing...then Bang...something.

Which begs the question...where did the something come from?

Christians believe God created something...from nothing.

Big Bangers believe...nothing produced something...on it's own.

I'll leave it up to you to make up your own mind.

Time does not exist except as an invention of humans. All things are actually happening now, what you would call the past, present and future.
It is like all events happening are stacked vertically like pieces of paper on a vertical rod.

There is only the "now" and it is given to us as a gift so we can do wonderful things with it - that is why is is called the "present".

Time, like matter has always existed. Since there are no gods, it has always been and will always be. The concept of measured time was invented by man, it is relative.

the primary dimensions are space and time. both are there irrespective of anything else. time was always there and will always be. it is not something that comes from somewhere. it is helpful in monitoring and planning of all our activities. it is well understood but cannot be defined in words.

Time doesn't not exist in a literal since, because it would have to decrease infinitely and increase infinitely both at the same instance.

It is simply one of many dimensions in the universe. Like the rest of the dimensions, its existence is eternal if it exists at all.

However, some theories of physics indicate time is entirely illusionary and does not actually exist.
