This is a tough question because many people like myself do not want to offend others by claiming that the faith they have is the true religion. I refer to my faith as Christianity and not religion. It is my belief that Christianity is the way, the truth and the life. The Holy Bible clearly states that the way to the Heavenly Father is through Jesus Christ, so because of my upbringing and faith I believe Christianity is true. Forgive me if I hurt anyone by stating this, but I would not be true to myself or my God if I did not state make this claim.

"True" religion? Start with a definition of religion as copied and pasted directly from the online dictionary http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/religion
1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2. a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3. the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
4. the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5. the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.
6. something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience: to make a religion of fighting prejudice.
7. religions, Archaic. religious rites.
8. Archaic. strict faithfulness; devotion: a religion to one's vow.

As the first four words in the primary definition are "a set of beliefs" how can one think in terms of "true" and "false"? A belief is a belief. My beliefs are as valid as yours or anyone else's.

Funny but I had a typo before completing this answer and for 5 minutes only had a single letter in my response - it received a thumbs down so I'm guessing I have at least one person out there who follows my answers and automatically assigns a thumbs down. Maybe they were offended by the letter "B" or perhaps they are merely a tiny brained wiper of other people's bottoms.

Yes, the one that helps you grow the most spiritually. Whatever path leads you to become the best person you can be is the true religion for you. So there can be many true religions. For some, it's Christianity; for others, it's Islam.

As for me and mine, we follow a Pagan path. :)

Yes, the Landover Baptist Church is the one true religion. Imagine if all the people started believing in Landover Baptist, there would be no more fighting, no wars, only love and peace. It would be a beautiful thing.

It all depends on exactly what you mean.

There are several world religions that qualify as truly authentic RELIGIONS.

Only one of those authentic religions actually teaches the truth.

I know I am going to offend people & please forgive me.. But religion is a form of law that man has made up. When we get to heaven there will be no religion we who are God's will worship him.. We have all forgotten that when Jesus Christ came he came to abolish the law.
There will be no religiosity in heaven..
