This is an imaginary flower that exists only in the artist's mind .

It is based on aster or related plants in family Asteraceae.

It could have been inspired by a plant in the Asteraceae but not Aster (which has rays that are more numerous and a lot narrower) and it is nothing at all like what I would call a cornflower. The closest I can think of is Zinnia, but it has larger leaves. Another possibility is that it is a Forget-me-not drawn by a botanically ignorant tattooist who gave it 6 petals instead of 5.

although the coloration is incorrect, that is a dead ringer of a corn flower. pretty!
