PS3 operating system Problem?

Question

My brother accidentally pressed the change operating system button on the settings menu and the system turned off. The system powers on but but nothing comes up on the screen. What can i do to fix this problem?

if you try it checks the disk drive for a linux intallation disc
if it isnt in then it just goes back
maybe the tv casble is unplugged
