You have only one example....why are you automatically pointing it towards ALL Christians?

In my humble opinion, Christian parents do even more to educate their children from a very young age - as it is appropriate to do so - to protect them from the predetors of the world. Sad as it may be, but a child these days needs to know very early on what inappropriate touching from ANYone means.

It's ridiculous. I work with a good christian girl - Pastors daughter. She told me that she found out what sex was when she was 15. She described how she felt that everyone had "lied to me". She said it was like "everybody knew this secret but me and I felt like a joke."

I think it would teach, at best, "mistrust." If sex really is a "beautiful thing inside the bounds of marriage" why do so many Christians treat it like its "the big nasty"?

I am Christian, & was raised in a Christian home. I have no children, but my mother never had a problem talking to me about sex.

Christians have trouble talking about sex because Christians don't have regular sex. The only type of sex Christians have is nasty, kinky stuff. The type of sex that would be embarrassing to talk about to other adults let alone your children. I couldn't image telling my daughter about how I kissed her mother's feet about being hog tied and whipped a dozen times. So to make it easier to explain sex to your children try have normal sex.

Because Christians believe that humans asexually reproduce, and to suggest otherwise is blasphemy! Also, promiscuous birds and bees are very unchristian.

Introduction of sex or reproduction is different.

Reproduction is everywhere.

Sex is lust with consenting flesh.

The thot of the parents'getting it on', quite picturesque.
School learnings i prefer, i don't want personal body images from parents, nor sibleings.

Everybody EVERYBODY learns slowly allways , they see cats ,dogs, cows giving birth, shows depicting sex, birth. Books, stories, NEW Babies always cause the womb, birthing stories. NOBODY is completely novice, even if they wanted .

Are you kidding? My 13 yo knows more than I did at his age!! He learns from his friends, and then I set him straight b/c I'm NOT afraid to talk about it.

But I know what you mean--growing up on the farm, my uncle would get all freaky and tell us to go into the house when the bull was mounting the cows--he said it wasn't for children's eyes. And we always said "What's not for children's eyes?" and he'd just get mad.

I didn't know that was a trait that came with believing in a holy trinity, I thought it was remnants of pre-sexual revolution when sex was such a taboo subject that it just wasn't discussed.
