This could be an indication of a circulatory problem but the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

When you get these sensations like this it's probably best to see your neurologist. You may have a pinched nerve in a disc. These will give out sensations along with pain. Try either cold or heat to relieve it.
