The rapture is just a false doctrine that has no support in the Bible. It's a very effective strategy the devil set up to trick people into believing they can postpone their conversion. But the the devil knows that there is no such thing as a rapture. When Christ returns the second time, that is it, it's too late for conversion. Therefore, many people will be lost because they waited too long to accept Jesus into their hearts.

If you want a real thriller, I recommend watching the amazing movie called "Final Events" which dramatically captures the rapture and other final events of Earth's history. You won't regret it.

Here is a short pocket book which covers the rapture in more detail and explains misunderstood Bible texts.

Rapture Doctrine
A Stumbling Block for Christians

Before 1830 you can find no mention of the Rapture Doctrine. That alone ought to send up a red flag. In fact, the word "rapture" is not in the Bible. So, where did this false doctrine come from?

In 1830 Margaret MacDonald had an evil revelation on her sick bed, supposedly from God, in which she was shown what would become "The Rapture Of The Church", among other names.

And, from The Incredible Cover-up by Dave Macpherson, Appendix A, you'll read:

"I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light." - Margaret MacDonald (Spring of 1830)

MacDonald's revelation would have probably died with her; however, two preachers grabbed it, cleaned it up, and presented it to Christendom. Today, you'll hear many pastors promoting that false doctrine from pulpits.

The Scripture teaches that "No man knoweth the day nor the hour..." but all one has to do is look at the CNN news and compare the events of our world to what Revelation said would come to pass and you can easily see that it COULD take place within the next 3-7 years (my humblest guess).

I kidded you not to say, nothing has to happen. If I remember correctly, Peter looked for the return of Christ even in his day. That alone should tell you something.

Jesus Himself told us that not even He knows only the Father God. But the signs of His coming almost 99% are fulfilled. So we can affirm that His coming is at hand. And we need to keep ourselves Holy by keeping His commandments in our lives. LORD JESUS COME SOON...Maranatha..Anathema

Whenever God decides He is ready.

That's the best answer I can give you, and probably the best answer most people can give you. We don't know exactly when it is, and because of that, we need to be ready at all times.

30 minutes!! Didn't you watch the news?? Seriously, why ask this, do you really believe anyone can answer this question??? Is anyone positively sure, that it will ever occur? Does anyone have first hand evidence from the big guy upstairs this is imminent? NO! Why because God only speak directly to televangelists, and even they can't get the date out of him. That mean no Yahoo! Answers people have the answer either.

The bibles say the Lord shall come like a thief at night. Not knowing how or when this will happen. This is why you need to be prepared spiritually.

Rapture teaching is heresy. It does not follow Holy Scripture or Holy Tradition.
