Yeah, I'm really not one of those giggling, teasing, simpering girls with a bangin body and helium voices. But I'm feminine and intelligent and really want guys to be interested in me.
Are there more 'sophisticated' ways to flirt that don't involve acting like a complete airhead? Thanks a bunch!!! :-)

Yes. but it's harder to come across when you like someone. Giggling girls make me sick sometimes and I think the best way to flirt is subtle touching. If I like a guy I talk to him like any of my guy friends, but give him little compliments, touch his arms/shoulder, laugh at his jokes. That's what flirting is, not just acting like a ditz to get attention. Never dumb yourself down to look 'cool' or 'hot' for a guy. Hope this helps =]

I have a ton of guy friends and I know for a fact that each and every one of them would choose and feminine and intelligent girl to a giggly, simpering, immature one any day of the week.
And yes, there is always a more sophisticated way to do something. Playing a little hard to get might make you seem elusive and mysterious, though some might find it off-putting.
But other than that, remember to smile all the time, keep eye contact, laugh, and touch him occasionally [just gentle touches on the arm, shoulder, even leg are all great signals].

Just be yourself. If you don't do that, you might not find the right guy for you, and he might not be interested in who you are, only sex or something like that. I just started going out with someone who never really flirts, but I like that about them. You'll find the right person, just give it time.

Try shooting for a guy with a common interest. Girls who are willing to flirt are fine and all, but a girl with something in common with me trumps flirting every time.

I would say a simple smile at a guy. playing with your hair.
A nice walk works for me, but have to keep it lady like do want them to get the wrong idea. Being your self helps too.

Somthing I've always been atrracted to is a smile. If I was you I would smile more that talk. It will let you seem more like a mystory. And that draws guys in. They'll want to know more about you.
