Are their lives actually effected by her tv show?
Or are they just trying to change things to their will?

I didn't realize she was the subject of any specific controversy. I'm a Christian. I've seen two episodes of her show. I thought it was fairly boring. Most Christians, and most human beings, have lives that revolve around more than what's on TV. Some of the more hardcore Fundamentalists might be offended that she's interested in women as well as men, but aside from that, I'm not aware of any particular controversy.

Tila Tequila I cant really say much about, all I know her as is some girl from Singapore that has a really popular MySpace account.

As for anything else that gets under the skin of my fellow christians. Well thats everything, I cant say that there has ever been someone that has the least amount of popularity or fame that the church hasnt tried to cast into hell. Its entirely too sad to think that the followers of a religion proclaiming free will try to tell its congregation what to do and when to do it.

And thats coming from a practicing christian.

Not sure about the Tila part of your question (willing to search more) but Tequila does not like me very much any more. We had fun in the old days though.

OK, did a quick google search. WOW!! what a HOTTIE! With the brief look that I had, I would venture to say they are threatened. The parents are concerned what their precious little boys might think, the women concerned about the same. I should stop there. Back to more searching....

First for those who do not know who this person is and I suspect most do not, here is a brief bio.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tila_Tequila

Like virtually everything else the average American's knowledge of any other peoples of the world but themselves is reflected in references to CHRISTIANS .

Because of their loud,in-your-face,pontificating,sanctimonious holier-than-thou highly politized stances, the CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISTS have become the arch-type Christian when in reality they are quite the opposite.

These inane fanatics are the darling of the media because of their "freak show" quality from Robertson to the late Falwell to a hundred other whacko fundies .

There are some 2.1 billion Christians in the world comprising some 33 % of the world's people.Fundamentalist/evangelical Christians make up ONLY SOME 5 % of Christians and most are found in the US.

While many of the world's Christian Churches are constantly trying to reconcile their differences and find mutual fellowship,Fundies are effectively shunned by the rest of Christianity because fundy "theology" is rightly or wrongly seen as a bastardization of Christianity. While you will periodically hear of different Christian Churches working together, you will NEVER (to my knowledge) find a fundy Church either being approached or approaching other Christian Churches.

All of this to request that we be careful when making generalizations about CHRISTIANITY and Christians for the 5 % fundy Christians are profoundly in dis-agreement with the rest of the Christian Churches on a number of crucial issues including evolution. As an example, most Christian Churches have effectively no problem with Evolution while fundies reject it out of hand.

On the specific of Tila ,I suspect that whatever the negatives the asker has heard about her are from the friggin fundies .This is not to say that on this issue that some non-fundy Christians have a negative view of her but un-like fundies non-fundy Christians do not usually shoot their mouths off in the public square/media demonizing/vilifying/slandering/libelling others in a moralizing/holier-than-thou manner.

Does she persist with Christ? needless to say no longer. you may not purely say you're a Christian and then act willingly yet differently. that's like somebody who says they're a disciple of Sigmund Freud (a Freudian) yet is likewise of an identical opinion with Richard Webster. To be Freudian you ought to agree thoroughly (and persist with interior the footsteps) the classes of Sigmund Freud. that's an identical with being Christian, to be Christian you ought to completely accept as true with Christ's teachings and do thus. needless to say the basis of that practice attests to her no longer doing that, consequently no longer being Christian.

I have absolutely no idea who you are talking about. Thus there is at least one Christian who is not bent out of shape over it.
