In the United Kingdom, the British forces handle their own in this case. All else is predominantly American Air Force and I believe may still be one Navy detachment in Scotland. 'Depends on the mission and the thought greatest threats under NATO, the UN, and the respective countries where the courtesies are rendered for sake of diplomacies that continue to ensue and enhanced through mutual agreements.

Don't know but it sure would have been nice. I have relations in England and I spent three tours in Germany and never heard of an Army installation in Great Britain. I don't think the Army has been there since the war. Sure would have been nice.

There are no U.S. installations in either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

Back in the 1960's the U.S. Marine Corp Depot in Londonderry, Northern Ireland was closed down.

I believe all thats left on the mainland UK are US Airbases.

Yes, RAF Menwith Hill in Harrogate. It is a Military Intelligence installation. It co-exists with the Royal AF. I'm sure there are some more, but I know someone stationed there.

Other than NATO advisors I don't think the Army has a presence in Great Britain.
