it depends on how sensitive your teeth are, but the agent used in the crest whitestrip is a sort of bleach. It is very strong and if you leave it on too long you might feel a bit of discomfort or pain in the nerve endings of your gums. Though i bought a pack made for a 14 day use period, one at night and one in the mrning...i actually find that wearing one every few days works fine...and doesnt hurt my teeth

There isn't enough peroxide to destroy your teeth to any degree, the next day your teeth might be a little sensitive. And if you swallow it? Your stomach acid would burn it up, because it's far more acidic than an over the counter teeth whitening kit.

My teeth would start to hurt, then they'd be sensitive for a while after if I left them on too long. But I have semi-sensitive teeth anyway, so if your teeth aren't you should be ok.

i have done some research about them and apparently the stuff that is used in them is just less effective after the 30min period because of your saliva.
so basically you wont get whiter teeth by leaving them on longer because they weren't designed that way. ")

well your teeth get really sticky w/ that stuffjust rense and you'll be okay but ireally dont like the fact it has artificial sugar that stuff aint good for you

They bleach your teeth, removing the emamel and then after a while your teeth become extremely weak.

you don't buy as many and crest makes less money.
