None. Your hips are so wide that if you were not a little chunky you would be out of proportion.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Here's a weight chart - it gives Height then ranges for Small Frame, Medium Frame and Large Frame. For your height your well within the range for a large framed girl. However if you feel you have more of a medium build or small frame, then you should eat smaller portions of a well balanced diet (including portein which you need to maintain energy and strength) to attain your ideal weight. Judging by your photo you are not grossly over weight by ANY stretch of the imagination, and you have no need to go on a radical diet to loose a massive amount of weight. Don't let society's idea of the "perfect body" woo you into thinking that you aren't attrative with your curves and all. Let your beauty first shine from within, be confident in who you are and then strut your stuff girl! You've got it and go ahead and flaunt it! (In a way that shows you respect yourself though ; )
Be blessed and feel good about yourself - you deserve it! mattie

well u should lose 30 pounds which will be healthy but u should do this over the process of 6 months, so it will make your goal about 5 pounds a month. u should run atleast 3 miles a day, and ride a bike for 30 minutes a day, also jump rope for 30 minutes a day, and do 60 sit ups a day and 40 push ups a day, You may want 2 divide this workout into 2 sep. parts such as doing the running in the morning and the jump rope in the morning and the rest of the workout and in the afternoon around 4
u should be eating 1200 calories a day so write down whatever u eat 2 keep track and throw away all the junk food, and don't drink and soda or diet sodas either stick 2 regular water, and when u want bread eat wheat bread it healthy and it better and has less carbs than white breads

You look really good as you are. You have a tiny waist. You could prob go to the gym and work out doing leg weights and what not. Ton up the leg areas and lose a little in the hips. But if you didnt lose anything at all you would still look great. Also, vegi's and fruit alone can be unsafe. Add some fish or chicken into your diet and dont go under 1000-1200 calories a day.

As of now I'm 5"7 and about 170 pounds....and an adult figure skater preparing for competition in February...getting down to 165 would be Sweet.......
The best diet I ever did is South Beach,ya gotta have protein, and fats, and veggies, but in the right proportions.....being healthy in the end rules...the media makes us well appointed women geeks, when in reality, the Perfect ones are made by photography...
At your age and your height, my first question is do you feel you are fit? How about your mind? Is it positive and glowing?
and I'm probably old enough to be yoiur granny at age 57

you need protein in your diet, otherwise you will end up feeling like crap and the muscle you have now will start to break down, thus slowing down your metabolism and causing you to gain weight. if you don't want to eat meat, start taking a protein supplement.
as for your picture, you look fine, but could stand to lose 10-15, granted thats how must of us are. don't worry about dropping weight fast, focus on doing it the right way and you'll be fine.

you seem pretty much average weight for your height, but the fruit/veggie diet wont work....i mean, it WILL, but only while youre on it, afterwards youll gain more weight than you had before hand....eat normal foods, but less and more frequently (try 5-6 small meals a day) and this will work better. this is a lifestyle change, not a diet, so it will be more effective

You look wonderful! I wouldn't be concerned about losing, rather toning what you have. Don't eat fruit and veggies alone. Please eat a balanced diet, with lean meat for protein. Exercise a few days per week with weights, and you'll be more satisfied in no time! Remember... weight is just a number. It's how you feel that counts.

Just eat 6 small meals a day,.....don't take a bunch of stuff out of your diet, just eat sensibly and often, then you'll never feel hungry or deprived......and you have big boobs and hips, your weight is fine for your height and body shape, but if you have any to lose it is in your hips, so focus on doing workouts that maximize the impact on the hips....good luck!!
I just lost 25 pounds (have your similar shape and frame) by exercizing and eating small meals often. I tried eliminating foods prior, but it did nothing but make me crave those things I couldn't have.
