Yes, we welcome all.
Not all Kingdom Halls have windows. Some are used as a shelter during bad weather so it is best to not have windows.
Kingdom Halls are built differently all around the world.
Some are open air pavillions if air conditioning isn't possible to be breezy and comfortable, others have lots of windows. Just depends.
Our Kingdom Halls are very clean. We do all building using volunteers. A quick build is amazing to see. We are so organized that we have all permits and everything is scheduled down to the hour as to when the walls go up to when the carpet is laid. We can build a 5000+ sf hall in 3 days. From slab to holding a meeting with the sound system working in 3 days! Jehovah watches over the building of his houses.
Our local newspaper did a full page spread a few years back and interviewed one of the inspectors. He commented that he expected to "Red Flag" many things but that it flew through inspections and was built beyond requirements and he was very impressed. 3 Days!
We have a Regional Building Committee that supervises everything! All the volunteers are JW and we show up with clean, proper clothing and ready to work. No short shorts, not shirtless, no plumbers crack :)
At the above mentioned hall there were over 900 volunteers. Wow!
We invite many, we love to grow and see new halls being built. Please come. Just listen, ask questions and learn.
We do not "fund raise". We never pass a collection plate.

I am not a Jehovah Witness nor do I believe in their basic tenants. But some years ago I taught in public schools and had some JW students. In an effort to know more about their faith and how it fit into the public school system - I attended some of their services and was always welcomed.

of course, the door is always open to anyone who wants to come into the Kingdom Hall. we do not pass around a plate for money. we are a loving family and welcome everyone. we do not try to change your religion if you are not interested. some people visit to see what we are doing. no one has to invite you into the kingdom hall. just open the door and come in and you will be welcomed. my Kingdom Hall has windows and no one comes to your door at seven in the morning. I am just getting out of bed at that time. pastor art, is afraid that he may learn the truth instead of the lies.

Yes of course, any/all are welcome.
As for what your friend said a friend told her, sounds like details are missing.
I will tell you that we do expect those attending to be non violent, and wearing clothes (believe it or not, this often times has to be said)
PS Many Halls DO have windows.
I would love to know where these people live who claim we come EVERY WEEK at 7AM. Rather hard/impossible to believe.

I have never been invited. I do volunteer work as a Protestant visitor to encarcersated young girls. JW also has a group of ladies who do JW volunteer work as well. I must say, the older ladies of their group have always been very friendly and nice to me but the younger ones - my age, are very cold. Not sure what that means - just my experience.

Hi Nina;
I really don't know much about JW but I would think that if they go door to door to recroot I would think they would love having visiters in their church.
Not knowing JW well, I am guessing.

Yes we invite any and everyone to the meetings. There is no reason not too. Pastor art, so you believe everything you read or hear? Please check facts before you go stating them.
