Christians are certainly unique in that they have no concept of justice.According to them evil people like child molesters can be completly forgiven and a decent man full of compassion and virtues who is not a CHRISTAN, will be thrown in Hell for eternity!

Do some research on the origins of Easter. Not the Christian Easter, the ORIGINAL holiday. It was practiced by "pagans" long before Christianity was developed, and almost all of today's Easter tradition's stem from the pagan rituals. The same goes for Christmas. It was stolen from a "pagan" religion based on the birth of one of their gods (notice any similarity). The pagan rituals brought about the wreath, and the christmas tree. There is even a part in the Bible which mentions that bringing trees into the home is not allowed. This was to combat the "pagan" rituals. There are actually some Christians which do NOT celebrate either Easter or Christmas because of its entirely pagan roots.

You are basing that assumption on your own particular belief. You have some supernatural thing that loves you? Well enjoy ... It pleases him.. well it better please him or your on the road to the hell fires for an eternity. But if he gets angry you are still on the road to the hell fires. How much love can one stand?
I have read all those wonderful stories in the bible about all the massacres they he promoted, all the babies, pregnant women and old people along with everything they owned put to the sword. Then there is the sweet smell of burning fat they he so enjoyed. Yes, all really good stories ......I especially loved the one about if you don't believe you will burn in hell for all eternity. Yes, really good stories.

The really sad thing is that you don't even know your facts when you go on your rants. There are many other religions that no not require the pleasing of angry gods.
BTW, last I checked, your god is "a jealous god." That sounds like he has a few anger management issues.

how is it that you don't have to please the christian god again? he seems to have more rules than the typical god, and the bible is full of references about people receiving his displeasure.
christianity was fabricated from various sources by galillean rebels to undermine the divinity of the roman emperor. it only gained dominance when the emperor turned the tables on it and used it to buttress his declining empire, which then inspired mohammed to write the koran to unite the arabs against the spread of christianity.
the naked archaeologist, history internatonal channel's resident christian apologist, even admitted in one episode that christianity arose out of the efforts of galillean rebels.
edit:
umm, guy, very few religions claim to be the only true religion. in fact, christianity and islam are the only ones i'm aware of. feel free to enlighten me if i've missed any.
edit:
chuck and magnetic, you're both wrong. those ideas were integral to some pagan religions.

haha, I didn't even realize it was you again until I finished reading the question! Sorry, but the fact is, Christianity is also unique for being the most bastardized, corrupt religion. As much as I think all religions are nonsense, at least most of the others tend to remain consistent over time. Christianity's history is full of lasting influences from other religions and rules and guidlines being changed out of convenience. Christianity is the Frankenstein of religions.

If an atheist were to get a religion, I'd say it'd be easiest to do Christianity, because it requires the least out of most monotheistic religions, like you basically said. So, yeah.

Christianity shares one thing with all religions. It proclaims that IT, and IT alone is the only way to God. How shallow. God has so much more depth and intelligence than that.

of course it's unique. There's no other religion where the dead were brought back to life, or a man defeated death after three days in the tomb.

LMFAO!
Christianity is not unique, AT ALL. It is an amalgamation of multiple earlier religions.
And, you're mistaken. You are supposed to please your god by not committing sin. You are supposed to have your behavior be changed through your religious beliefs.
However, I worked at a prison for a year and I can tell you that religion simply does not change the majority of people for the better.
Peace,
Jenn
