When its cold outside, more like at night, my subwoofers do push out as much bass as they can. i know its harder for them to move because of the cold and all that, but do they have subs that are more resistant to colder wheather?

subwoofers, as a fad, are getting old. and apparently so are your subwoofers. buy a new set ever 3 months to keep them fresh, and the stores in business.

No offense at al, but its possible it is just not a good amp, may i recommenced a rockford fosgate amp, it may also just be the subwoofers cant handle it. The last possible problem could be if you cheaped out when it came to wiring. If you got 10 gauge or something small running to the amp, or running a high gauge back to the amp and small gauge ground form the amp. Always try and keep a high gauge all the way through the system, the electron flow will be more even and faster than a smaller wire. Also you should also have a good sized speaker wire as well to subwoofer. A number of things can make it sounds "bad".

Bass should actually be louder in colder weather...

insufficient power at night due to current draw of other devices. rubber surround becomes firmer in cold takes more to move.

The surrounds could be stiffer when it's cold, which would affect the resonant frequency (Fs).

They shouldn't sound any different. If they do, you have problems.
