Let me just warn you of this: If the little girl gets pregnant, mom may not accept it so easily, and depending on where you live, it might be out of all of your hands what the law will do.

I don't know man... back in the day... like way way back in the day that would be pretty normal, but nowadays it just makes people a little weirded out... I would wait it out for a couple years til' she turned 18... and if you can't do that then I guess I would talk to the girl about it... also... I wouldn't go directly to the mom, I would have the daughter ease the mom into the idea for a bit, and then talk to her about it... and it might help to have the girl there for the actual conversation to defend the things the mom will inevitably say like "I really dont know if (daughter) will be ok with the age difference" and stuff like that... alls I know is that when I'm a parent I probably wouldn't be cool with it... good luck tho man, I'm rooting for you

No offense but the age gap is just a bit to big in my opinion. Im sixteen as well and have an uncle your age. Maybe wait until she is 18 that way the age difference isn't such a big deal. Whatever you do just be careful that you don't make her grow up faster than she should.

She is a child and thinks like a child.Do either of you have jobs cars and your own homes?
Then you dont understand responsibility yet son.She will change a LOT in the next 10 yrs believe it or not.Leave her alone and let her finish school and grow up, because all the kids in the age group who marry end up divorced later.Do you want to be divorced at say 30-33 and have to pay child support?
Think ahead with your head and not your hormones.

That's too big of an age gap; at 16 she has different interests and experience than you. Date people closer to your age; when she's 18 or 20 you can date her.
Even if her mom likes you now, if they decide they don't like you, they call the sherriff's and you're labeled as a sex offender.

You won't like this answer. We had the young man come to the house and spend time with our family. When they did go out, they went out with groups of people. No worry for parents, less temptation for young people. As soon as she got old enough- (20) they got married and lived happily ever after. So far. Good luck.

Not necessarily, lol it's called a date, I think because they set a date together on which they are gonna go out. I think different people do different things on their dates.
