There are thousands of them. I enjoy evangelizing at the fairs in Wisconsin. I have hundreds come up to me just to make fun of me, but after they hear the gospel, you should see their faces! Usually about one hundred a day receive Jesus! They get quiet and turn white while they begin to shake and cry. Many receive Jesus right then and there, but many try to remain macho in front of their friends, so I give them a salvation tract, so that they can read later. Many of them return year after year to thank me for sharing God's salvation with them.

Jesus doesn't defeat cancer. Doctors with chemotherapeutic drugs do. Actually, the profession of medicine operates on the principle that there is no god, most of the time. If medicine said that there was a god, there would be no need for doctors, because we could just pray and that person would be healed. Why are people so quick to chalk medical triumphs up to a divine being? Just MAYBE it was the doctors who were in medical school for ten years and studied their butts off, and the researchers who helped find cures for diseases, that were responsible for these so called "miracles."

Medicine (yes, a science) has defeated more diseases than this Jesus fellow could ever have identified or likely imagined in his time. I would like to believe in a lot of things, but I'm a rational person. Go on deluding yourself about our intentions, though.

Not me. I tried to believe in God when I was a little girl. Grew up in church, was saved, and then I discovered that none of the Christian denominations agreed with the other denominations. Baptists skipped over chapters and beliefs present in the Bible. Pentecosts skipped over the "This law is null and void now" parts of the Bible. Catholics created and removed parts of the Bible. Basically, the book that showed the Christian Faith could not be interpreted truthfully, so I quit believing it all. None of it meant anything, and even with pure faith in God, no miracles happened. So I created my own religion to follow, and my life has improved tenfold.

I'm curious. Cancer kills you, right? And the death of our human body is the only way to get to heaven, yes? So why is Jesus saving these people instead of letting them die and bringing them home TO BE WITH HIM? Shouldn't those that believe be looking forward to death and the Eternal Paradise that comes with it?

Cancer frequently regresses.
When is he going to regrow the limbs of amputees?
By the way, if jesus heals cancer, why do christians always go to the hospital? Sounds more like modern medicine should take the credit in those cases.

I do believe in God and he does perform miracles, if you believe in him. Some he might not be able to, but he has a place for them with him. There is a reason for everything and a purpose for his doings. You just have to have faith in him to do his will and not ours. God Bless

Nah, that is pretty illogical, I can't see why kids would wan't to be atheists... as if it's not bad enough being that fat kid, with glasses and braces...
The point I'm trying to make is, usually, the atheists is the smart kid... the one who believes in evidence and substansiation, thinks faith and superstition are the names of the hot cheerleaders and would rather kick the mexican kids named jesus than a soccer ball!

"If you had someone you dearly love dying of cancer, You wouldn't want someone (like Jesus) to come along and save them from that?" - I have cancer, but I'm not placing my faith in either a dead man or some "god" to heal me.
I believe in facing facts, Sunshine.

Oh I didn't know your delusions could cure cancer. Sign me up. Oh and I don't think you know the crap people who aren't christians have to take for not bowing down to your (very) ficitonal god. Show me one person who's cancer was cured by jesus and i'll believe. Oh and that means no doctors got involved.
