Absolutely! I am 8 years older than my husband. Women on average live longer than men, so to me it's a more natural way to do things. The only problem will be if you let it bother you. Address any issues up front, we did. Three years is not that huge of an age difference. :) Good luck!

If the couple wants it to work it can work. I've seen this happen many times. One of the best examples is my parents. They've been married for over twenty years and my mom is older than my dad. It all depends on the individual couple. After all, age is really just a number.

It depends on how old they are. As you get older the gap decreases. I think it's hard for an l8 year old male to relate to a girl in her twenties, but it's not hard for a 25 year old male to relate to a female 28. It's all about life experiences and growing up, things you have in common, and your life goals, such as do you want to have a family, do you have a good job, are you responsible etc. Good luck and God Bless. Three year is really nothing if you are both grown up and stable.

My fiance` and I are 3 years apart and it works out just fine. I'm 24 and he's 21, age don't really matter.

How old are the two of you? That mommy stuff is bullshiit (unless he acts like you are his mommy). Three years is a lot in teen years but not so much in 20s and 30's.

It's perfectly ok I mean in most relationships it's ok for a guy to be older I don't see why men think that girls have to be younger!

i don't see why girls always seem to have to be younger and then also shorter. guys don't grow as fast as girls do. i think you'll be fine and don't listen to the one that said it'd be like having a mom figure, it's not!
