I have severe pain in my right elbow and later it progressed to the left elbow. At first I thought it was as a result of using eliptical cardio machine. An x-ray revealed some calcium deposit on both elbows. I've been very active for about 15 years and this includes hardcore bodybuilding. What could have caused this ailment and what's the cure. My doctor prescribed Dicloflenac cream and tablet but it just helps control the pain to some extent. I stopped lifting weight for about a month but there was no improvement so I continued to lift again. Do you think weightlifting is doing me more harm. Lifting or not lifting does not change the level of my pain. Does anybody know where I can get some help?

Based on your symptoms it sounds like arthritis could be a possibility. I would recommend a consultation with a rheumatologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders involving bones and joints) if you haven't already to see what they think could be causing this.
