originally i was raised as a christian but i cast off those beliefs because they were in conflict with my morals also education and common sense played a big part too.
As an agnostic i can't say that there wasn't some sort of omnipotent presence or force that created the universe simply put science can't answer the big questions either
I do love science and i do believe in evolution but when it comes to what created everything we simply don't have anywhere near the knowledge to figure that out.
when i die i figure one of two things will happen one is oblivion the second....... who knows I'll find out soon enough
its probably oblivion though lol

My viewpoint on gods such as the Christian god, Muslim god ect are about the same as yours. I just don't believe it...it sounds like rubbish. I can not bring myself to believe it.
I remain agnostic because I feel that just because something is not written about it cancels out the possibility. (I actually think if a god exists then man would not be able to write about he/she/it)
Also while I find it all interesting to study and discuss I really do not care if there is one or not.

I was an agnostic.

Then I realized agnostics are atheists.

It's just a label.

Weak atheist (Me) = lack of belief in God

Agnostic= Doesn't know whether God exists or not (therefore, lacks a belief in God)

Agnosticism is more for the realm of epistemology. It deals more with knowledge than belief.

Atheists bemoan christians for having no proof of god. Atheists have no proof against a god. Agnostics understand this and don't make such inane statements that can't be backed up. I'm agnostic and while I don't believe any religion is true, I won't say there is no god because there is no evidence.

My little human brain isn't big enough , or well-traveled enough, being stuck here on Earth, in 4 dimensions [time makes 4], as I am , to fully know the infinite . Therefore , if I can't know everything , the list of what I can rule out , is somewhat limited .

(one or more Big It(s) ? multiple universes?- if that , then, in what form ?~ Pages in a book?~ Rooms in a house?
~Russian doll mode? - if that , how many universes are on the end of your nose? etc, etc )

If you go with the Big Bang Theory, where'd the original point of ..... everything come from ? If you go with God, where/ how did God come to be ? If this universe is just the plaything of some higher entity , that is merely god-like to us , then where did that originate? etc, etc , etc. - I just don't know .

They accept the possibility that there may be a God, and have set out on spiritual paths of knowledge, experience and enlightenment. They generally form and follow their own philosophies about life, purpose and the practical application of their beliefs. If there is a God, they want proof and seek truth.

I was one for many years, and when confronted with Christianity again, I gave it the same objective and open minded research that I had given other beliefs and religions. I have found that the exclusive claim of Jesus; His being the way, truth and life... to be true and real. The living God touched my heart and changed my life, as He has for millions over thousands of years. No delusions here. I just found that this was the real thing after trying many others. He is as close as the mention of His name.

Basically, the way that I see it, I can't put much stock in what religions say, it doesn't make sense to me, but how can I explain what caused the big bang? there are so many amazing things that science can't explain, so MAYBE there is something, but im not subscribing to any organized religion, both sides of the arguement make me sick though, I respect athiests and people who are religious, and I wish everyone could show the same respect.

Agnostics just acknowledge that the question of the existence of God is something that can never be answered definitively---this idea makes the whole debate a pointless waste of time

Agnostics are people who are smart enough to know that one should not make a judgment when one has no evidence.
