I've been attending this church that my uncle has introduced me for the last five months. the church has asked me to do bible study with the high school students. I would love to do it, and disciple them..
However, the English worship serice at that church seems dry. People are standing there, not really worshipping passionately. As of now the church is not really into Missions, and they seem more interested into fellowships... I dont see anyone at that church like my spiritual mentors or like life time accountability partners.. If I love to serve, teach but the worship serice seems dry, not too organized, and people at the church is not really my spirtual help, do I move to different church where people can make difference in my life? I know that It is not a good reason cuz of people but the englishi worship sevice makes me feel that way.. in the other hand, I see the need of high school students at the church.. do I move church? what do you think?

Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?
The fault lies, not with all religion, but with “false” religion.

False Religion...MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?

False Religion...SPREADS FALSE DOCTRINE: Most religions teach that the soul or spirit is some invisible part of a human that survives the death of the physical body. However, the Bible teaches a different doctrine. “The soul that is sinning, it itself will die.” Ezekiel 18:4 Jesus taught that the dead will be resurrected, an unnecessary action if humans had an immortal soul. Does your religion teach that the soul does not die?

False Religion...TOLERATES IMMORAL SEX: Church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy. What, though, does the Bible teach? It plainly states: “Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men.” 1 Cor. 6:9,10 Do you know of religions that condone immoral sex?

How to identify true religion.

True Religion...PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display “love among themselves.” Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.

True Religion...TRUSTS GOD'S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God's Word, the Bible

True Religion...STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to “love their wives as their own bodies,” helps wives to develop “deep respect for their husbands,” and teaches children to “be obedient to their parents.”

True Religion is available, search for it.

In just 5 months they ask you to teach the high school kids, they must know you are very spiritual and would be great as a teacher. This could be your chance to help the church and give them more enthusiasm to worship. Most of the older people do seem to just sit there or act embarrassed to really worship openly. It takes someone special to turn it around that is close and knows God through prayer. Do a lot of praying this may be your opportunity. The high school students are their next generation of the church and when the older ones have been called home these kids will be the church with God.=====

"Where people can make a difference in my life".

The only person that can make a difference in your life, is YOU. You have the choice to be and do whatever you want to. You could go to another Church and find the same thing there, because you are looking in the wrong place.

Look inside yourself, question, find out what you are really thinking. Read, investigate, question, find out for yourself where you should be.

If you open yourself up to everything there is out there in the way of Spirituality, you will find a very interesting world.
If you read. search, seek with an open mind, and believe in a dream, your dream will appear.

If you want to be a minister or a teacher of religion, you have to know everything about every religion, so that you will be able to answer any question that is sent your way. In the meantime investigating every religion on this planet, is very exciting and uplifting.

You could come back to where you are exactly now, which will be O.K. But at least you will have used your free will that you have been given, to open yourself up to new spiritual thoughts.

I think there are allot of churches in America who are the same way. They are literally starving there people to death. It sounds like you are not being fed.
Pray first.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, then all these things will be added unto you."
God sees your hunger and from the way it sounds he has a very special purpose for you. You love teach, you are needed.
Don't just jump up and move to a different church, make a suggestions put them in an suggestion box or give them to the minister.
What do I think, I think possibly you are being prepared for a missionary position. That's just a thought.

I think you should pray for God's will, and maybe visit a few different churches to give him the opportunity to make it clear where He would like you to be. Be careful, however, in making judgments about where other peoples' worship styles, etc. It's impossible to know peoples' hearts, and we should leave that to God. Also, remember that we are called to serve rather than be served, as Jesus was. I don't think that means that we should settle in a situation that doesn't help us spiritually, but it should remind us of our priorities when we are at church and keep us from being critical of others.

First of all, check their doctrine:
Do they consider the entire Bible the inspired Word of God?
Do they consider Jesus God?
Do they believe in the Virgin Birth?
Do they believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ?
Do they teach the Second Coming of Christ?
Do they teach accountability & judgment?
What are there views on heaven & hell?
Do they teach salvation by grace alone?

Second of all, does the church build your faith? Strengthening your relationship with God? Helping you to understand the Bible? Are they a carnal, worldly church or do they teach the Word? <-VERY IMPORTANT

Third of all, what is it's worldwide ministry? Do they serve the local community as well? Do they offer opportunities for service?

Lastly, pray that God will show you the right church home you need to belong in.

What does God want you to do?

If that answer seems amorphic to you, then you didn't get yourself alone with God for long enough.

When I spent time alone with God, I reached a new level of knowing His will for me. He guided me to be secure in what He wanted from me. And that's what I am doing now. I tell people about God here. He gave to me what I needed to do His will. I think that you will find that He gave you precisely what you need to do Him service, and you don't need another thing.

I would believe that this question came up precisely at the time that you ad what you needed to perform His work. I know at least that He already gave me what I needed to do His work.

never depend on a building or a group to be your spirituality and feed you in your place

you need to feed yourself and go to a place that you will flourish in

you also need to know who you are, what you are and be honest with yourself

when this awareness happens, you will awake and become sentient, and know the answer for yourself outside what others want you to be

Without a doubt pray!
As far as you know, God may use you to bring life back into this church.
Follow God and He'll lead you straight to your dreams!

one should ask GOD where they are to be

and the so-called 'churches' today most all are dry
and God isnt in them

if your that passionate about doing what is right
READ the BIBLE
and PRAY and SEEK GOD
and ASK HIM , what you need to do and where you need to be , first SEEK GOD FOR YOURSELF
one must work out thier own salvation with fear and trembling

SEEK GOD
ask HIM and allow HIM to give you the answers , not man
not everyone can do as others do...and some are drawn away because they are not following GOD they are following mans traditions.............
PRAY/SEEK/ASK/KNOCK...GOD WILL ANSWER
and be patient and wait for HIS answer
even Jesus waited 30 years to go out and tel the people
and HE was God...........
the bible says to wait on your calling and to make your election sure........
GO THE WAY GOD SAYS , not your own , nor mans.........
FOLLOW JESUS
