Maybe God is punishing me for being the wrong religion?

No the person threatening me keeps calling himself different names but not God. But I chose the wrong religion and ruined my life so maybe I should die?

Do you mean text messaging on your cell phone? Call the police, they should be able to put a trace on it.

Why do you think God is punishing you? Are the text messages signed "God" or something?
=============================
If you are so certain you are the wrong religion, why don't you just change your religion instead of thinking about dying? I'm not sure how being a Mormon could permanently destroy your life.

People quit being Mormon every day, (and every other religion too). Its no big deal. If you don't believe in it, stop being one.

First of all, tell your parents. Secondly, your not going to die if you go to school tomorrow.. You can find out who is sending this text. Its just like cell phone records.Sad to say, Its probably one of you friends,or a classmate pulling a bad prank. If you have had them before, contact the authorities to track your texts.. To be sure, there is no reason for you to have to deal with this nonsense.. As far as your religion, believe this, If there is a God ,he is a good God, and whatever your religion is ,if you live your life being good and treating everyone like you want to be treated, God will accept you and give you whatever rewards there are to be given.. If you are bothered by the texts too much, don't even look at them. When you get them. Delete them.. If there is a God ,HE loves us all.. Believe That!! SOLOMON

Call the police immediately if you receive any death threat through any medium.

Be sure not to turn off any device or close any program through which a death threat arrives.

For example, I received a number of death threats through YIM over a period of 30 minutes. After the first one I called the police. While I was waiting, three more came in. While the officer was here, sitting in my desk, six more came in. Since I had not closed the window, she was able to see that it was a single event.

I'm so sorry that someone would do that. That's terrible.

Even if it doesn't seem serious to you, talk to your parents or a teacher or a policeman or something. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to threats like that!

In that case I suggest you become less inclined to believe everything you read. In both cases.
