I'm trying to find things to donate to a 13 year old girl, a 13 year old boy, a female in the military, and a male in the military. I do not think they're related, but any ideas?

Canned Foods or Foods that dont need heating up or something if possible

Clothes

My idea for like the 13 year old boy and girl, i would get a backpack and put in everything little 13 boys and girls like and stuff you would need that they may not be able to afford like:

Toothbrush and toothpaste, a small blanket, a card (maybe a little $$$ not much, a 10 to 20 would do. even a 5 would work), a doll for the girl maybe, an actionfigure or something for the boy, shoes if you really feel like it, books, etc.

Even sending a card is just nice to get!!!

I wish you all the luck and that it is GREAT that you are donating! God Bless You!

Well, I'm not good with "Kids" but I do know a LOT of people in the military and if they are stationed over in Iraq or Afghanistan then they want some American Snack Foods and Porn.

My friend's twin is over in Iraq again and we have been sending him crystal light packets for water bottles, cookies, granola bars, oatmeal bars, tobacco sauce, Cigars, and issues of Play Boy with the covers of Scientific American glued to them.

Anything that can’t melt, is individually wrapped, and does NOT contain Peanut Butter (They get that A LOT over there) will make them happy!

For the 13 year old girl I think a good Cosmetic Assortment Starter Kit would be a good choice. You can get one of those “Everything” boxes from Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, exc. for under $20.00.

The 13 year old boy is harder to shop for…

He will want something BIG like video games and such…

I don’t know what to recommend for a male…

I hope this helps!!

For the 13 year-old girl: Dainty jewelry or hair thingies.

For the 13 year-old: Sports items, action figures, Pokomon cards.

For the Military Personell: I am a disabled Navy vet. (Lost my hearing in 1995!) Since they are always away from home, writing materials (paper, envelopes, STAMPS, pens, etc.) personal care items, cookies (Make sure there is enough to share!)

Use your ingenuity, but be practical!

The 13 year old girl would probably love clothes, and maybe the boy as well. Boys like video games and electronics. For the adults...magazines, any supplies they may need daily such as toiletries. Books are always fun. Candy and cookies.

Military people need things that travel well and remind them of home. Cookies are not a good idea, neither is anything chocolate considering how hot it is over there.

Toiletries such as shaving cream, disposable razors, hard candy, letters, pictures, beef jerkey, maybe something funny like a gag gift.

For the children most definitely clothes. They are most likely in a public school system and children can be cruel to poor children who cannot afford clothes. Also, winter coats, hats, gloves (if in a cold area), some age-appropriate toys, books, and new socks.

For the military man and woman, I suggest things like towels, household products (cleaning goods, kleenex, washcloths, soap, etc..), canned goods, outerwear, sweaters and new socks.
Good luck!

Currently in the military and deployed?? Try any non-perishable food/drinks; good socks, books and notebooks, comfortable pillows, a soft blanket, cd's, old movies, etc.
