Less than 1/2" thick, melted chocolate chips. It would be chocolate-dipped spoons. How long would it take for the chocolate to harden? How does this compare with white chocolate chips?

It takes about the same amount of time. It just depends on the coolness of the room your are in. In a 70 degree room, it could take an hour or more. If it's winter where you are, do what I do and set them out in your garage. They be solid and yummy in five minutes!

or should I say lickety-split!

Should only take less than an hour if you put them in the fridge. Same for the white chocolate.

Probably about 20 min. White chocolate is probably about 15.
