God has came back as an Atheist? And you are on here treating them like I see a lot of you doing...

I'm just saying I see a lot of hate from Christians towards non-believers and what if God comes back and disguises as one of them and here you are treating them like they are below you for what they believe. Never mind how they treat you that's not important, you shouldn't have revenge in your heart if you are Christian you should learn to accept everyone for who they are. Don't you agree?

I'm sad to see that a few of you are missing the point. But I can't say I didn't expect it.

You are correct a true Christian does not pass judgement on anyone. because they are no better then the next person. I am a Christian and I see that a lot. God is a loving and forgiving God and he is the only one to judge us. If you ever run into a Christian and they have hate in their heart they are not true believers they are posers. God is love not hate.

It would make God a liar to have the same belief as an Atheist. A atheist believes there is no God at all. God is not going to say he does not exist. Jesus is Lord and Sovereign. Hate is spread by many people in this forum. To think that people can pick on others without getting some in return is like saying a bully does not deserve what he give out.

At this point who knows who through the first punch. It is a bloody mess of words and attitudes in this forum. People also read between the lines so much they are not even reading what the author really intended to write. I was guilty of this a few times and apologized for my errors. We are human and not perfect, people answer to try to get under other peoples skin and then jump to say , See you are not a good Christian."

I try to give breaks to everyone but some people bring out my sarcasm also.

Sometimes Christians fail at being loving and Christlike at all times. We're not perfect. Most of us know that, but there are a few christians that give christianity a black eye through hateful actions towards unbelievers. We fail. We're human too. But, youre right. Christians do not always act in a loving manner, and if you do see an example of Christians acting in hateful and unchristlike ways, then they aren't representing what a life with christ is all about. Chances are good that they only go by the name of Christian, but don't actually practice the teachings of our savior and Lord...Im sorry to hear you feel this way, and this should be a reminder to us christians to clean up our act, so we can show you the love of christ, instead of the hatred in our own hearts...

I agree with the fact some Christians should show more love. Some come off as demeaning and superior. I am a Christian and believe you should treat everyone with honor and respect, no matter their beliefs. I once didn't know Jesus. I was led to Christ by concerned, kind, thoughtful people, no chastising. A lot don't have the tact.

Very good point. I don't hate Atheists. I can understand their reasoning to a point. BUT, I choose to believe in God and in Christ. You have to have faith in something, and I put none whatsoever in humans. I also understand all living things on this planet have a life force, but until a tree writes a sonnet, it's still a tree and nothing to be worshiped.
And to the Atheist folks out there, if you don't believe in God, you better hope that you are right.
How will you spend eternity?

Are you a Christian? If you are a Christian you should know that God is in us all, including Atheist. We as Christians are suppose to love everyone, including our enemies. Yet we are not to believe as an Atheist does. We need to continue to show everyone what we believe. God tells us to love the sinner but not the sin. He gave us his word to go by and it is our responsibility to remind others about what it says. We should do this in love not hatred. After hearing the Word it is up to each one of us whether to accept or reject God.

Hate? In what form?

You can't sense the hate coming from some of the non-believers towards Christians?

And for us to respond with Scripture is hate, too?

I don't get it.

Well said, Wyco. I've always wondered about the hatefulness of so many so-called "Christians". Where does it come from? Is that what gets taught in Christian churches?

they are actually not Jews because of the fact Jew's don't think the messiah has come yet. they don't have self belief Jesus so believing in Jesus and announcing your Jewish for sure contradicts one yet another.... it is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". stop this custom now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

According to Jesus, whatsoever we do to the least of these, we do to him. So I would say that, your scenario is already happening. The way we treat other people is how we are treating God himself, in Jesus' eyes.

Peace to you.
