The end of time for this world is in God's hand for He is the
Creator of the universe.

The world will end when you die. In this life everything has to do with time. In eternity there is no time. When you die you will appear before God the same instant as someone who died thousands of years ago. The Bible says there will be earthquakes, droughts, floods, famines, etc. in the end days. We have had these things since the beginning of time. The Bible is telling us that the end of time is when we die. I pray that as many as possible will understand that the world comes to an end every day for hundreds of thousands each minute. Jesus will stand before God in our defense at judgment if we have given our lives to Him while we were on this earth. Those who have not will be cast out into darkness, there will be gnashing of teeth. God bless.

In about 5 billion years or so the Sun will run out of fuel. When this happens the core will collapse and the outer layer will be temporarily blown off and it will expand. This expansion will stop somewhere around the orbit of the Earth. Rather or not it engulfs the Earth, it will certainly be the end of the Earth as we know it. Then the Sun will shrink down and cool leaving whatever is left of the Solar System in the dark.

No offense, but my opinion is that you should have asked this in the Sciences section, not R&S. The world will certainly "end" when our sun goes nova. Human life on Earth will probably be long-gone (either extinct or migrated to other solar systems) by then.

A supersymmetric universe could overtake our universe any time although it is not likely to happen within the next googleplex.
The sun will destroy our own world long before that.
