Hi. I am planning on moving to Galway, Ireland in a year or so and I want to look into some schools. I want to major in graphic design/ web design, but so far, google hasn't helped me find the school I need. I was wondering if any of you knew of a good college close to the Galway area that has a program for me.

This is much appreciated. :)

I believe there's a college of Art and Design in Limerick.

Closer to Galway if it's got the course you want.

NCAD in Dublin is a great place to study - as is Athlone. Or try the University of Ulster at Belfast. It has a degree in Visual Communication.

We refer to third level education as 'colleges' in Ireland, this is probably why google didn't help you.

Usually you first have to do a foundation year, then you can choose your stream. We don't refer to it as 'major' over here, by the way.

Whole different terminology with regard to education outside of the US, hon.
