He plays football, she doesn't play sports. He works out and has a nice muscular and toned body. She isn't fat, but she isn't athletic looking. She is a little chubby but definitily not fat. They are good friends and he compliments her and tells her that she looks beautiful. He calls her baby girl, pretty lady, lovely lady etc. He seems to care about her. So does the fact that she doesn't have the best body not matter to him?

it depends on the person. it really has little to do with what he looks like. some of the fattest guys in the world wouldn't even consider dating a girl that isnt as thin as a toothpick while some of the smallest guys in the world couldn't care less if their girl was as big as a truck. its all different for each person even if some of the times it isn't based of fair judgement.
he seems to like you (if by she you mean yourself) so go with it. try not to be so self conscious and jsut let them play out as they should.

Not everyone likes the same things. Maybe the guy likes a little bit of chub. Maybe he's less into looks than personality. There's no way to know without asking him. Don't worry too much about it, it sounds like he likes her.

haven't you answered your own question like 3 times just in the text of the question? Obviously he doesn't care, otherwise he wouldn't find her attractive..... it's not hard to tell if someone is really fit or not dear.

It doesn't matter. Guys like soft, and that's how women are supposed to be, not athletic and musular like a guy!

Yeah, yet not too fit. i like adult men to be waiting to hold me and all that. although the actual thank you to my coronary heart is thru my smile. in case you additionally could make me snort and smile you have my coronary heart. that is as hardship-free as that.
