How do you know when you're the "back up guy"?

Obviously, no man wants to be the "back up guy". So, how can a man tell if a woman is trying to make him her "back up guy"?

she wants to be with she says and then doesnt spend with you. when they just go to you for certain sh** like advice or comfort but they go right back to the same routine the next day.

If she calls to make plans at the last minute, and never plans and follows through with something way in advance!
