I honestly don't understand. Is it intimidating for you guys to be with smart, funny, witty girls? Answer honestly..I mean what do you look for in girls? Or, girls, feel free to answer if you have any idea why this is so. It seems like the coolest girls are always single, and it's not fair!!

I'm going to answer your question with another question:
"Why do the dullest boys ALWAYS have girlfriends?!?"
It's because the dullest girls will go for the guys who will tell them how pretty they are and buy them chocolates and every other selfish desire they want fulfilled. And they dullest guys will go for the girls who will sleep with them when all they have to do is tell them they look really pretty and buy them chocolate.
Just hang on and build your character, and another guy with an equally character will come along eventually. I promise, it's worth a wait.
Edit: I don't think anyone here really understands what you mean by "dull" and "cool/smart/funny". My answer is to the understanding that you mean the dumb, cliquey, cheerleader-type girls are the dull ones, while less popular girls with more character are the ones under your catergory; some people are giving answers opposite of that which I can understand they would think that.

well some guys that are in the younger generation just have a wrong idea about girls...I am not saying all guys that are young are like this but most guys look for a girl thats has big boobs a nice *** and that just go right to the bed.... but yes some guys are shy and don't no what do say to a girl that is like the smartest girl in the class. they are probably just too scared they will say something wrong.. and just think of this.. the coolest girls can go to parties and have a good time flirting with guys while the dullest girl is sitting there fighting with her boyfriend and not having a good time.... just be patient you will find a smart witty guy like yourself too. I did :)

This is from a guy's opinion of your question. Personally, I would only date a smart girl. I think being smart and cool is really important for a girl. Also though, a girl has to be good looking. So, keep being smart, funny, and cool. Those are definitely important to many guys out there. I think the most attractive thing about a girl, besides her looks, is when a girl is very reserved and classy. That is sexy all in itself.

So you think we "dull" girls are taking something you "smart" girls should have?
Or perhaps, you "thin" girls think we "fat" girls should starve ourselves until we die so you won't have to look at us?
Then, again, maybe you just don't know "us." Perhaps you learned to look only at the surface, not down deep where the real woman lies. Who decides what is fair? Maybe we "ugly" girls think we'd like to be pretty. Instead, our parents taught us that what's on the inside is more important. Maybe that's why we have the real men, and all you "pretty" girls just can't keep do any better than to become thin, bitchy, mean, conniving, trophy wives for men twice your age. Hmmm...maybe being "cool" isn't all it's cracked up to be. No wonder the "in crowd" is so mean. You need hearts.

Yes, most guys are intimidated by beautiful girls, the most intimidating thing is to have the girl be so full of herself its like "well she loves herself so much she dosent need me." You have to be flirty and open to hear what the guy has to say to you. Dont sit there and talk about yourself and how great you are. Give the guys your attention, making them feel like you really want to get to know them and be with them. You will have as many as you want! Good luck, Swequin

It is SO funny that you mention that. I've been teaching (college) for 28 years now, and it is something I have noticed again and again for decades. The student with the engagement ring on her finger has no personality at all, but the smart, beautiful girl who has been elected president of everything and who is a joy to talk to always brings up that she can't get a date. And if she does have a boyfriend, it always seems to be some nothingy guy 20 years older than she is who gives me the creeps!

idk do you have a job? or just rich parents, maybe you all just think your smart and funny, and your actually quite annoying, theres a lot of things to factor in here, myself I dump the dull ones right away, but what I find smart funny,and witty may be on a different page than the one your on, ok I was just being honest, go ahead, report me! everyone else does! The dullest girls are easy. Most of the dullest girls will "put out". In a sense, guys looking for "experience" not relationship will always gravitate toward these kind of girls. They do not marry most of them and go for shall we say, cooler girls like you?

No, seriously, guys do get intimidated by the kind of girls you described. They also may not think you WANT a guy; I purposefully give off that vibe, but some other girls do by accident even when they DO want a guy. Be outgoing and easily approachable, and you'll have more luck with the dudes.

OK so I have studied men's behavior and how they feel about women. It isn't that they don't like you for your intelligence or are scared off by your personality, they just want to know that they can be dominant in the relationship. Just think if they have an intelligent girlfriend, they are constantly showing them up. I have this problem ALL the time. Just take that into consideration : )
