I'm almost 20 and still no girlfriend yet, I hate being single, why do I have to be a late bloomer? its unfair

I turn 20 in one month and I still have not had a girlfriend yet, not even a one-night stand, not even a first date yet, still a virgin(obviously). I've only kissed a girl lip-to-lip, the last time was when I was 17 and it was no random hook-up at a party, it was through truth or dare. Anyway, why was I cursed with this life?, am I one of very few people like this?, almost everyone has or had a boyfriend/girlfriend in high school and while as a teenager, soon in one month I won't be a teenager anymore, I'm already in my second year in college and the second semester is about to start. It's hard for me to not worry about this because we live in a society where the media, culture, and social life is dominated by dating/sex, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc. Like it's impossible to go out in public and not notice someone kissing or holding hands or hear people talking about boyfriends/girlfriends, sex, etc. If I wanted to avoid seeing/hearing that, I would have to be blind and deaf.

Also prostitutes do not count for me, I refuse to lose my virginity to one. How does almost every male out there get a girlfriend?, like almost every male out there is capable of getting one, they make it look so easy, what are the magic words that sweep a girl off her feet?, I don't collect action figures, I drive and own a car, I'm not like Steve Carrell in The 40-Year Old Virgin(well at least he had girlfriends). I'm tired of waiting, I've been wanting a girlfriend since I was 14 and so far I haven't been close to hooking up or going out with a girl. Seriously everywhere, everyday, anytime your gonna see a couple holding hands, kissing, making out, etc. People say for me not to worry about and just wait for the right one to come along, well it's hard to not think and not worry about it when you see a boyfriend/girlfriend couple everyday in your whole damn life!!!, I don't care about meeting the right one, I just want a random hot girlfriend like every other male in society has had.

It's not fair, why can't I get a girlfriend?, why do shy, nice, innocent guys always finish last?, I am almost always depressed about this, and for your information I have a Psychologist and take Anti-Depressent pills, why do us guys have to make the first move?, it's not fair, girls have it easy, all they have to do is just wait around to be approached, they don't have to be the ones to face rejection.

Hey.. I didnt have a boyfirend until i was 18 and he never had one either..trust me, i always felt terrible bc i was single when everyone else was taken.
but take my word for it, i couldnt be any happier that i never got with anyone else before finding the perfect person. i realize that is so much more special than just having bf/gfs based solely on attraction or just for the sake of having one.
you shouldnt be upset because when the perfect girl finds you, she is going to be head over heels happy that she was ur first everything

i think of everybody, male or lady might like a much extra beneficial better half in existence. to locate somebody so desperate and needy seems such as you're looking after a toddler. while people attempt too complicated it style of feels as though they infrequently have any self esteem in themselves because of the fact their making themselves attempt so complicated. Be your self. you say you won't be desperate in case you had already been in a relationship yet i've got self belief such as you will possibly regardless. From watching your questions you lack self esteem all jointly and which could impact your existence a great deal. no longer everybody has lost their virginity that are of their 20's. perhaps you're merely no longer waiting for such an emotional journey yet. Who is conscious. concentration on different issues exterior of relationships. you do no longer sound such as you go with a relationship yet merely intercourse. it is pathetic.

It's not fun. I'm 19 in a nearly identical situation. The thing that I don't understand is how other guys who are less attractive and less smart somehow get these great girlfriends. It's even worse when girls stay with someone who treats them like crap, but those girls refuse to consider talking to someone nice (like they claim to want in guy). I hate when girls say "I just want someone who cares about me," but they aren't even interested in guys who are like that. It's so bad that I did a search across my network in Facebook and found that something like only 10% of the girls on my network are Single. What's with that?!?
Anyway, I just want you to know you're not alone, man. Someday hopefully it'll turn around for us and we'll find what we're looking for.

look i am the same exact way! i always kinda feel sad and stuff when i c ppl around together and stuff... but i have had one bf but it was only for like a week.... i know lame but u r gunna find someone that is right for u..... wether its right now or later! u will click with someone and it could be ur soul mate! but just relax and enjoy life for now... or it could be that u r looking for the wrong girl... u should lower ur expectations for what ur looking for

I think you just have to not be too afraid to put it out there and let girls know how you feel. You may get your heart trampled a bit in the process but you have to be in it to win it.

i think it is fine that you havent had a girlfriend yet. i bet a lot of girls have wanted to date you but you might have been too oblivious or she might not have been the girl for you.

also, you might want to try lowering your standards on a girl.
or
be more outgoing when it comes to meeting girls
