On my left thigh there is a lump that is NOT visible. I was scratching my leg one day and found it. It doesn't hurt to touch it, except if I keep on poking around on it. I have had it for a long time. It hasn't gotten any bigger or anything, so IDK what to make of it. It doesn't move around in my leg, just like a knot under the skin. What is it? (No ''see a doc'' answers, because I have no insurance, I am a hypochondriac, and my doc thinks I am crazy as is)

It could be anything, from a calcium dpeosit to a cyst. You won't know unless you go to a doc and they run alot of tests. but if it isn't bothering you, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you do need to see a doc, there are free or low cost clinics just about everywhere.

Calcium deposits are usually there because of an injury that caused bleeding in the tissue, and the calcium hasn't been reabsorbed yet. Did you have an injury there in the past that could have caused a calcium deposit? If its a very large lump it could be something that you would want to see a doctor for if you are concerned. If its small it could be something as easy as a knot in your muscle.

yeah, go to the doctor, chances are after you see DR, if it doesnt bother you you may just be able to leave it alone.....if it grows, then they can remove it.
some people get these . some alot and they have to be removed when they grow kind of big. If they grow....
see the doc! chances are it is harmless; but when in doubt, check it out

This is a bad answer but still...

GO SEE A ****ING DOCTOR! IF ITS SOMETHING THAT IS LIFE THREATENING YOU SHOULD NOT TRUST PEOPLE ON YAHOO ANSWERS OR THE INTERNET IN GENERAL.
