seriously how?
It just doesn't work, unless you believe that big fat unsourced book that is at least 1500 years old, with parts dating 5000 years old.
Scientific discovery is based on questions, research, discovery, investigation, it always cites its sources, it always references work done by previous scientists. And to be honest with you, a source that is like 1500 years old can't be trusted as much one that is 5 years old.
Sorry bibleistas but the quran has you beat on this, at least muslims have aided science, a lot. Not one i have ever spoken to has said they believe in creationism, sure they believe that allah created the universe, but believe also in evolution as a true and elegant way to describe life on our planet.

1. There really is not very much solid information that 'supports' evolution, and each attempt at a critique of the theory is met with vicious verbal attack.
2. I believe in God. Fundamentally either a person believes that God Created the Earth as recorded in the Bible, or God does not exist. God leaves this as the option for mankind.
3. 4.6 billion years is just not enough time for the world to have evolved to the state it is in right now. Mathematically is beyond improbable (It is especially on this point that people totally ignore the argument and never reply with information or facts)
4. There is a growing groundswell of institutions, lawmakers, and citizens who support either Creationism, Intelligent Design, or the teaching of Evolutionary Criticism in the Public School system. If everything they believed were simply based upon a few passages in Genesis, they they would easily be thwarted. But there is a growing body of evidence AGAINST the Evolutionary theory.

ok lets go through these and destroy your beliefs shall we. firstly i shall note that all of you so far have been duped by one book and are therefore stupid.
1. there is a lot of evidence that supports evolution, a lot, look at the skeleton of any mammal compared to another, if you do not see the similarities then i REALLY pity you.
2. I do not believe in any gods, the universe is too big, and the earth is too small for this to be significant. All that matters is that my dealings with you are significant to both of us. whether you like it or not, when we die we go nowhere, we are no more, we only exist in the past.
3. beyond improbable? you mean impossible right? excuse me, but it's completely probable, and in this universe we inhabit with this size, even the improbable is possible, even for just the pure scale of it.
4. what your institution, can you give me hard facts? scientificly referenced evidence, not lobby groups with the same opinion as you?
no. didn't think so

you are all wrong, wrong wrong wrong.
copy and paste this and i will GIVE YOU best answer.
Creationism is a lie, this is because god does not exist, life is insignificant, but only to the universe, it is not insignificant to the individual.
Evolution is true, it really happens, anyone who denies it is an idiot, look at SIVs tranformation into HIV, yep it changed species.
There is no god. This planet is too small, way too small, to have any significance in the universe. Luckily evolution provided a path whereby the genus homo sapien could express it's purpose, even if it is wrong. For you see at this curret moment homo sapien is leading the intelligence table, even if chimps gorillas and orangutans have an edge over creationists.
THERE IS NO GOD
copy and paste that and i will give you best answer, yes GIVE YOU best answer.

using the scientific method
if god is all powerful, then god can make a being more powerful than god, therefore, it will no longer be a god, the new being will be god. If god cannot create a more powerful being than god, then it is not all powerful. Figment of your imagination. I'm so glad that when you die you will realise that you were wrong, until the i bid you adieu.
creationism is WRONG

Are you actually asking how, or why, someone believes in creationism. For example: how I made this entry is dependent upon numerous physical factors, biochemical reactions and physiciological responses in my brain, nerves, eyes, arms, fingers, etc. The why is something else.
Just because you can not prove something, it does not make it untrue. Some ancient greeks believed that there were such things as atoms, but they had no way of proving it. Does that mean atoms did not exist then?
A true scientist knows that there are more questions than answers.
When you take in account all the science of today that flies airplanes, makes medicene, builds buildings, etc. It is logical to believe it supports a theory of evoluation. But there is always the question "what came before that?".
The Bible is not a scientific book. It will not tell you the specifics on how to build a bridge, or how to cure cancer or program a computer. It contains truth for those who have faith. A lot of intelligent people have believed in it.
You are free to believe or not to believe in either creationism or evolution. You may believe in both. There are people of high intellect and morals who are in each of these groups.

Time and time again archeology has verified the existence of places, people and events we once knew solely from biblical records. Whoever witnessed the "big bang" theory and the
happenings in the millions of years after, didn't keep any records. Evolutionists say all life evolved from a single cell of algae that washed up o the shore of some ancient pond, created by 25 million years of rain which melted the rocks. Darwin thought cells were just blobs of protoplasm. they did not have today's breakthrough knowledge of the intricate molecular biochemical machines performance of complex
functions such as vision, blood clotting, and digestion. these
are not evolutionary steps. This is huge leaps in dessign that are impossible by random process. Evolutionists ignore this.
Even scientists wanting to reject creation see the impossi-
bility of evolution. complexity of biochemical design is one
area that now seems impossible for evolutionist to surmount.
At the molecular level, random mutation would have had to have billions of favorable adaptations all in a specific way,
all at once.
There is no large scale fossilization occurring anywhere in
the world today. When a fish dies, it does not sink to the
bottom and become a fossil. It either decomposes or is
destroyed by scavengers. Further evidence of the fact that a
great and sudden cataclysm once struck the earth are the
millions of mammoths and other large animals that were
killed instantly in the north polar region (Siberia and Alaska).
They were quick frozen, preserved whole, with flesh and
hair intact. Dinosaurs were lizards, and lizards never stop
growing. They only got the name "dinosaur" 200 years ago.
The Bible calls them dragons. Less than 3500 years ago,
people knew about dinosaur's (dragons), but they knew
nothing about "evolution".
(I'll quit at that, but I know a lot more I could tell you).

You are sort of making a general argument against religion to explain everyday events.
Which is completely true and valid, the Bible was used by the most ignorant to try to explain thunder or lack of rains in the past.
I'm glad the weak cover for teaching a Christian view "intelligent design" has been rejected in general. It has no proof, only proof against evolution.
Proof that evolution is flawed is not proving creationism exists. Why won't people get this.
And proving creationism doesn't prove a Christian God either. Thousands of religions have a creationist view, each with radically different ideals, beliefs, and systems.

Your logic is seriously naive. According to your logic you coud put a tennis shoe next to work boot and say one evolved from the other. Just because their are similarities in creation it doesn't follow that evolution is the answer.
The size of the universe and the scope of things is what evolutionist always fall back on. Throw big enough numbers at you and think that is an argument. Nonsense! This idea that if you explode things enough times it will form an incredibly complex universe with complex life forms interacting with each other and remaining stable from then on is UNSCIENTIFIC. If you took all the component parts of a lap-top computer and repeatedly blew them up would they ever form a computer? NO! And yet we are expected to accept that far more complex things came about by lucky accident.

When you go to college - and if you study one of the applied sciences or engineering - you will learn something called the Scientofic Method.
Scientific Method for proving anything calls for three conditions to be met:
- Predictability
- Observability
and
- Repeatability
As a Creationist, I'll point you to any hospital, zoo, or anywhere else. My hypothesis is that when two of a species mate the offspring will be of the same species.
This hypothesis is predictable, it is observable, and it is repeatable.
Evolution says that when two of a species mate, there is an astronomical chance that the offspring will be of a different species. That occurence is unpredictable, it is unobservable, and unrepeatable. Evolution does not satisfy even one of these scientific method criteria, much less all three.
That is why it is called a THEORY - not a fact. In addition, it is a weak theory at best because, by its very nature, it cannot ever, ever, ever be proven.
For those of you that hate science and logic, please give me a "thumbs down".

If it occurs in nature then science should be able to recreate the process. But they can't. They can't explain the biochemical process of a single cell organism coming together in nature.
Sure they can espouse all they want about genetic variation and change and that is great and all for the survival of the species but it begs the question of." How these complex systems got here in the first place?" You seem to forget that evolution has they same problem as other beliefs in regards to origins. NO PROOF.

its been delicately put together by a maker every bit has gradually been made piece by piece.it didnt just happen or suddenly appear did it?
yes evolution does occur but whats with a big bang?
for the big bang to occur shouldnt there have been gasses to produce it.
there is only one universe so if the big bang is true shouldnt there be other planets like ares?
oh just to add some sciencetists claim theres other universes.Where?Has anyone seen them?has it been discovered?is there any evidence to prove it?The answer is NO.
oh and ive heard a story from years ago that a maqn walked on the moon but i didnt see it happen and i wasnt there

religion has nothing to do with it.. it's down to our own personal view..
you either believe in creationism or evolution..
we are all on this planet.. and have our own thoughts on the subject.
yes the religious books have parts mentioned in them either way.., but well you either believe in one thing or the other..
I always ask Jehovah witness's about dinosaurs .. that gets them off my doorstep =)
