There must be some finite number. But many of them are extinct today so we must have less creatures than before. What does the bible say about it.?

None, he didn't create any.
But if you ask a "spiritual" person they would say the ones with souls (humans) and the ones without souls (non-humans). Pretty funny if you ask me but thats what they tell me.

The Bible says 'all of them' a number too large to be counted.
New species are being discovered all the time.
Yes, many thousands have become extinct, or evolved.

species die out and new ones are formed all the time.. there are new species being found constantly and ones that still wait to be discovered. So it would be impossible to give an exact number.

The bible was written before biology, the monks who wrote it had no concept of species, or even biology for that matter.
