Im 17. OK so i meet this girl at a camp and we got on realli well and she laughed at my jokes and everything so i got her number and rang her when we got home. We talked for a while and hung up and a little while later her friend told me that she liked me so i asked her on a date and she accepted but when the day came she said her mom wanted her to be home too early so we couldnt go on the date because of not much time so instead we met in a park and talked for a while. her friend turned up which killed it so we didnt get anywhere that dAY. after that any invitations to places got the "sorry im doing something" response until finally we met up except it was with her friends so it was kinda boring. she then told me she didnt know if she still liked me but when i went to see her in the mall she kept saying thanks for coming to see her and smiling and when i went to her house for a swim i kept catching her staring at me but she doesnt seem to be keen to do anything with me by her self. y?

Maybe she honestly is busy. Not everyone has time for all that, or maybe her mom is real strict with her.I think she still likes you since she's putting so much effort in staring at you and thanking you for seeing her. If you really like her, now isn't the time to pass her up. And i can see why she only hangs out with you with her friends. Alot of us girls feel a whole lot better about being with guys when our friends are around. I guess it's easier to be yourself with a whole bunch of people than just you signifcant someone alone. Keep trying to hang out with her ( but don't seem clingy) and good stuff will happen.

Complicated situation. Probably at the moment, she's trying to figure out whether she likes you as a friend or more. It's a very difficult situation for her; same thing is happening to me with one of my guy friends. She likes you one minute, and then she's not sure whether she likes you the next. For a while this is going to go on, but eventually you'll find out. Just be patient, and stay her friend. Though it may be hard to wait and deal with this, give her time to think everything out. Eventually she should tell you whether she wants to be just friends or more. She does like you now, but everything is confusing her. When she brought a friend/friends with her, it's saying she's nervous and afraid, and unsure of her feelings. Her friends make it easier for her to deal with things. But if it helps, like I said, yeah, she does like you currently. Sorry I can't offer more.

Girls like a chase. Let her know that you like her(or don't), but tell her by being chivalrous, charming, and sweet. Being funny is always a plus...just don't be too crude. And if her friends are total snobs, don't say anything corny around them because they will make fun of you and tell her she needs someone better. At least that's how it is in Jersey (about the friends, i mean.)

she probably likes you but is to nervous to show it... her friends are there so that if something goes wrong they r there for help, support n, advice... she is probably new to the whole dating thing n she needs a little help... she needs to take her own time... don't rush her into things or u will only push her away. everyone gets butterflies once in a while n wen u first started dating i bet u did too. take it into account that she is scared... let her take her own time n come to u... just be a friend to her for now n don't overwhelm her... if she really likes you she will come on her own terms!!

She probably does like you. Check for body language. Like if she fixes her hair, jewerly, etc. when you go to her. She was probably nervous on the day of the date. And she wasn't nervous with you and her friends at the mall.

She just wants to be your friend. OR she likes you but for some reason she can't go out with you. I mean, just don't be a jerk by not talking to her anymore. That's the most important thing now.

You don't seem to have that much in common. If she likes hanging with her friends then thats her style, either accept it or move on.

I think she likes you, but she may be shy. Keep hanging out with her (along with her friends) and see where it goes. Even if its just a friendship that's cool too.

I think she's scared. What have you got to lose if you say "hey whats going on here, do you like me or should I stop wasting my time?".
