How do you apologize to someone on YA when their email is not available?

But they email you a very nasty and rude note,

I agree with Maria, you can hit replay and apologize to the person that way. It is nice of you to want to apologize to someone who has sent you a nasty and rude note. You go ahead and be the bigger person.

If someone emailed you a nasty note, you already have his email address. Hit "Reply".

Unless you said/did something horrible though, I wouldn't bother.
