I do not consider you or as a group atheists close-minded. In fact I see as a group still highly interested in new information that explains our observable universe in new and better ways.

As a christian I am however disappointed in Christians as a group in their absolute disdain for new information about our observable universe. A few show a healthy thirst for knowledge but as a whole the group would fall in to the "I learned that from my Pastor" mode only. I can't imagine taking anybodies word as fact as much as they do from the podium at whatever church they attend.

I have never called an atheist closed-minded, in fact I think the average atheist is more open-mined than the average theist.

Though I will say that you personally sound like a guy with a chip on his shoulder and a pompous attitude to match.

occasion: OPEN-MINDED: If i've got faith 9 inch Nails have been pushed in the process the palms of Jesus' hands, yet I settle for that they might have been 6 inches. GULLIBILITY: some individual who believes there's no God...Oops - that could be Stupidity no longer Gullibility.... GULLIBILITY could be believing that Mary and the Saints particularly are unsleeping in Heaven and pays attention you....Darn that is stupidity too...... So i assume Gullibility is yet another be conscious for 'stupid' ?

Yes, I know the difference, but do you?
Do you know the difference between, live and let live, and trying to interfere in other peoples lives? Do you believe that you are so much more open minded then a Christian, when all you want to do is tell them how wrong they are and how right you are? Sounds like close minded thinking to me.

Yes, I do know the difference. I find that by being open-minded I can better understand the positions others take, no matter how far fetched they might be. I have learned to control my own gullibility as defense against the slop more open minded individuals continually pour into my trough. Thanks for asking.

Obnoxious, close-minded atheists exist too. Seems like the annoying ones on both sides constantly bait the other around here.

It's not gullibility, it's FAITH. There is a difference. Praying for you.

God Bless.

Well atheist deny the possibilities of something. You don't have to accept that a god exist, to acknowledge one might exist.

you are close minded if in your head you think one cant possibly exist.

They call us close minded and they don't accept that the FSM and the pink unicorn had sex and gave birth to the universe. You'd have to be so close minded not to believe that.
