Did you mean "bois"?

Bois means, "forest" or "wood".

There's no such word as "boiss".

You mean : Bois ?
Bois = wood ( like the wood you can chop for your fireplace )
OR
Je me promène dans les bois = I walk in the forest

I think that should be "bois"= forest or wood.
