Today in church the pastor said he had a message from God and it was for a young person around my cousins age, that is going through some rough times. He described her situation to a T.

Any way the pastor lets my cousin know she's going to be Ok and that she's having a hard time because the devil is trying hard to get her but she was going to make it because God's looking out for her. (I know she will)

We go to another room to get some more prayer for her to make things easier on her and make her feel better in private, and then I look to the floor and see a face in the carpet. Its not a happy face... it looked peeved and I think I saw horns. I doubt I'm hallucinating because I checked a bunch of times and it was still there.

Not that I didn't take the pastor seriously before but I'm scared to for her now crap now.

If you could pray for her; that she stays safe, reunite with her mom and siblings, and lead a blessed life we'd appreciate it

Spend more time with your eyes in the Bible and less time with your eyes looking into the carpet.

Dear Devan, while I cannot explain the things that ahppen to people spiritually nor can i explain the messgaes God sends too people, I know that the devil will most certainly try to intervene, any thing that is truly of God, the devil will most certainly go too no end to stop. To Know the enemie is wise, The devil, the BIble say's is a deciever, a liar and the father of Lies. The best way to confound the work of the Devil is through prayer. i canot possibly express to you how many times God though prayer has interceded in my life when it seemed that satan had controll. If your cousin is saved, if she has realized that she has broken Gods Law (lied, stolen, dishonered parents ect) and thius sinned against God and has confessed and forsaken her sin and trusted in Christ, there is no need for her to be afraid nor for you too be afraid. the Bible says of the Born again christian "none can snatch them from my hand". if however she has not seen her sin and repented (confesed and frosaken her sin, this may be very well a great opening too explain these things too her so she can be soundly saved. I sincerely Hope this has helped, i do not know the situation, but I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless

you have an somewhat question and you at the instant are not the 1st to ask it. Christianity's issues of the Jews bypass returned to the earliest days of the religion. After Jesus's loss of life (or ascension into heaven) The apostles Paul and James fought over administration of the church. James wanted to maintain it Jewish and Paul wanted to open it as much as the pagan Greeks and Romans. Paul won that conflict yet then the Jews rejected the Christians of their temples. under Roman regulation the Jews have been exempt from specific responsibilities in admire it their faith. Christians might declare a similar exemptions whilst it suited them yet after 70AD whilst the Roman military positioned down the Jewish rebellion and sacked Jerusalem, Christians then distanced themselves from the Jewish community. in many cases the Romans have been very tolerant of different religions yet Nero in specific disliked the speedy turning out to be Christian faith. some Christian ideals did threaten the Roman Emperor cult the place the emperor became seen as a god on earth and at that element in historical past the Jews distanced themselves from the Christians so as that they won't be fed to the lions too. Oddly adequate the Christians for the period of the midsection a protracted time took up a similar thought that their kings and the Aristocracy ruled in God's call right here on earth. the subject concerns between Christians and Jews began off as political no longer unavoidably religious.

You false pastor was telling a lie when he says that he received a message from God. He is just deceiving you . You pray directly to God if you have faith in God b ut not to the false pastor who is very pretentious in his dealing with God and you as a whole.. Your pastor is not a follower of Christ but a follower of the satanistic group who are decieving people around who believe on them.

It seemed like God allowed you to see the face for a reason.....pray for your cousin.....but do not let anyone pray for her in private.....without you being there.....the face might be a warning of some kind....beware of anyone you do not know well to lay hands on her to pray. Spirits can be transfered that way.

the pastor may or may not be real. sometimes ministers can generalize enough where what they say has to to with at least one person in the room.....so this makes them look credible. ....or maybe he was real.....

plead the blood of Jesus - every day- over her for protection from the devil...so whatever the threat, she will be ok....I pray this for her also, and I am in agreement with you in this situation.

Christian Churches in America are 501c3 corporations, because they have to abide by the rules from the government in order to get their tax exemption. Any pastor that says he is getting a message from God is probably lying, he is probably getting a message from the demonic angels. I see no evidence that God is telling people messages today, because if God was it would definetly be first about being obedient to his word, which these pastors are not doing. What is her first name, so I can pray for her?

Hi guy I'm real sorry people are acting like barbarians to you. I don't believe in a Christian God either but I don't make fun of folks who do when they're asking a serious question. Sometimes I pray, I'm not sure what to, but they often tend to help. I will pray for your cousin. And I wish you the best.

WELL this is a bit of a secular answer but w.e.

Firstly I HIGHTLY DOUBT that you saw a face in the carpet... without the use of some hallucinogen.

Secondly I doubt the "devil" is responsible for any of her problems. it's either her own fault or someone elses. The devil is what you call the automatic scapegoat: "OH MY!! my house fell down. was it coz of the tornado? nope, it was the devil"

How about actively helping her rather than praying for something to help her. Isn't it more likely things will improve if you do something about it rather than wait for an omnipotent being to do it for you?

you see, religion to me is a bit of hogwash, BUT your cousin's situation is important. i do hope everything works out.

You have the power in your mind already. God will listen to you, but you have to do is do what God wants you to do as well.
Christians often get caught up with what is right and wrong and if they're really doing Gods work.

If you want to get an answer from God all you have to do is pray to Jesus and in return follow him all your days and you will receive your miracle.

I have done gods work and walked through the valley of death and dined with devils and advocates of the devil and sat down with disease and , hepatitus, aids, turbuculosis, preaching Gods word and I have none of these contagious diseases because the Lord protects me as I do his work,

You must trust in him or you fail.

That is what the devil does. He incites our fear and uses that to rule us. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear...only reverence for Him. Fear is of the devil. Remember also that Jesus has given us the authority over all the powers of the enemy (satan). Every knee has to bow at the name of Jesus. I pray the blood of Jesus over your cousin and command satan to loose her and let her go, right now. In the name of Jesus. You must remember to fight the fear and continue to pray and encourage her. And read the scripture...God bless.
