I have a border collie, Holly,5, She is loving, she nestles in my arms, she is overly protective of me and the grand kids, and needs to play ball 22 hours a day...the other 2 hours...she demands to sleep on the whole bed!
I have a German Shepherd named Baby! She is 3 and tries to climb into my arms at 90 pounds every time something makes her nervous! Like the cat! The cat walks up behind the Shepherd and bites her hind legs and runs! The shepherds screams and hides in my arms, Then thinks better of it, chases the cat and flips the cat onto her back AND chews kitties belly until kitty claws the Shepherds nose to pieces.
Then there is the Basset Hound, Miss Abigail Elizabeth Basset. 4 years.
Quiet, well mannered, peaceful with all....EXCEPT....the dove..... Well after all , Abbie is a hunting dog, and the dove is hunting! Oh Boy, last month dove lost all her tail feathers because she did not move fast enough out of the Basset Hounds way!

I have a 2 yr old purebred Tri-colored Beagle named Nikolas and 6 yr old English Springer Spaniel named Murphy. They are best! The Beagle is at times your typical stubborn one but he likes to learn and engage in family activities and is great with kids and other dogs. The Springer is a very family orientated dog. He WILL not let anyone touch his family or even the Beagle at most times. He is also great with kids. They both have a great sense of humor too which I love.

Toby is a pom. he is very energetic and loves everybody as long as he is the center of attention. Jesse is a lab/basset hound mix. He has the hair and head of a yellow lab and the body of a basset. He pouts if you speak to any other person or animal before speaking to him. He will go in his create head first and refuse to interact with you for a few minutes. He is very loving and get along with all living things.

I've always been interested in shiba inu... very cute little ones, but I hear they are quite stubborn little characters:) I'm stuck to the german shephers- I've got 3 - Karina, very laid back, gentle female, who doesn't like other dogs, but is very friendly to people(but sometimes she smells something on someone and she always barks at those people...I guess she has a 6th sense or something...:)
Anika is 7 mo old crazy girl with endless energy and oh, boy is she a trouble... but I love my little girl..
And then there is Trigger....despite his name he is such a goof, and licker....I love him:)))

First of all I want to congratulate you on your new dogs, and I want to say that it is such a great thing when you adopt dogs that need new homes rather than buying from breeders!

I have Quincy..he's 6months old and believed to be a jack russell and pointer mix. (we rescued him from an abusive home of over 50 dogs..so we do not know his true 'identity')

he's a hyper little guy, but he is so smart and sometimes you feel he's almost human

ANd then we have Barnabas, a black lab. he's 11 years old and he is just one big mush, whose favorite pasttime is sleeping
