I have my a school in pensicola florida, and i wanted to know what there was to do for fun on the weekends? Navy people who been there, and could tell me would be greatly appreciated!

As one who lives 3 miles from NAS Pensacola and uses the base facilities, I can tell you there are plenty of things to do.
The Naval Aviation Museum is something to see (3rd most visited tourist attraction in Florida). You can also watch the Blue Angels practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
They just completed a brand new gym with indoor pool that people would pay through the nose just to join.
Off base there a few things to go and see, but transportation is limited.
Oh and not to forget the great beaches and waters of the Gulf and one heck of a road house called "The Florabama" great for live music and on the beach and cheap.

I've been there.. I use to live in Delta barracks.. First thing... have a car or make friends with a car... depends on how long your stay is going to be... I've been there for 9 months going to school for AT...
Weekends... depends if you want to do anything.. go to panama during the weekend if you under 21 then I recommend getting a TV and video games to pass the time..
if you have less time then hit up "PORTSIDE" hahaha.. I still remember that name.... I don't know what else to do expect hit up the beach and find some people to hang with..
make friends in class and hang out with them like they have better friends... its like one big family... you'll know who your going to hang with...

beach, mall, movies, stuff like that unless you are on phase 3 liberty you aren't allowed to do much or drive your own car so you'll have to take a cab there.
I had a great time there though when I was back in '04

Dude there is all kinds of stuff to do there. I went to school there in 05 (Air Force). There's always the beach, lots of bars and clubs, and just about anything you could think of. Have fun man, it might be your best assignment.

theres the aviation museum on NAS Pepsicola, there are beaches, there's golf, there's MWR outings.
Just don't be stupid. if you are underage don't even THINK about drinking.
